Eyes Down For a Little Sneakie Peekie :)

Picture-007web

Good morning peeps and hope you are all OK today.

Time for a spot of Papertake Weekly-ing over at the challenge here and this week we are having a game of

BINGO

with this ....

... grid here.

We have a fab prize up for grabs and some rather delish DT cardage to share,  so if you get a sec nip over for a nosey why dontcha xxx

Picture-001web

So this is what I did and I went for glitter, die cuts and blooms (a very popular choice).

Now I used Distress Inks to colour this oh so sweet Meant To Be image from Lili of The Valley BUT I coloured this weeks ago so I cannot remember which colours I used, I'm ever so sorry.

I do know what everything else is though, whoop whooop!!!

The papers are from Lili of The Valley - Bonnets and Bowties and Country Gent.

I love mixing and matching these pads :)

Picture-004web

38mm lilac faux silk ribbon topped with a pretty 15mm sparkly 2 hole button - both of course from the very fab Ribbon Girl

Picture-005web

The 40mm white daisy flower is also from The Ribbon Girl and the other bloomage is all from Wild Orchid Crafts

And I've been at the Spellbinders A2 Curved Borders One die set again!! A new die has landed here at chez Piggy today and it is beeeeyoutiful, so no doubt we are going to be seeing a fair bit of that one as well.

I am so predictable sometimes, I even bore myself!!!

Picture-006web

Another fave - Cheery Lynn's French Pasty Doily Die :)

You can get these dies from Lili of The Valley, along with a whole host of others so if you are getting your stamps and there is a die you fancy, it's well worth ringing the shop if you can't drop in. You can read about it on the shop website in the latest news here

Picture-002web

Picture-003web

So we are all done but before we go, here's a little sneakie peek for you .....

Picture-001websneak

... which is going to be featured tomorrow on the  Simon Says Stamp blog tomorrow along with another one that you've already seen  on here. Tell you all about it tomoz but till then have the most fabulous of days :)

2 For The Price Of 1

Hi sweet peeps and hope you are all OK today :)
I've got 2 card to share today, so firstly, it’s time to nip across the pond and join our friends over at the
Simon Says Stamp challenge and this week our theme is

Easter / Spring

We are showcasing  MEMORY BOX products this week.
You don't have to use them of course , but if you have them we would love to see them.

As always, our lovely Heidi is giving away a fabulous …

… for one lucky winner to spend …

… right here :)

So ….

 Picture-001web

.. this is what I did.

I have to say please excuse the pics here (and also the lack of them). The light was awful when I took these and I intended to take some more but time ran away with me.

The papers are from a  Memory Box Brioche 6x6 Paper pack, and I absolutely love them. They are just the right weight as well - we LIKE that :)

I haven't used Memory Box papers before but I feel quite sure I will again.

Picture-002web

The butterfly was made using Memory Box  Darla Butterfly Die and Memory Box Vivienne Butterfly Die and of course the sentiment was done with good old SAFMAT Self-Adhesive Printing Film.

Ok now we are going back in time to yesterday so please pretend it's Tuesday!!!

And if it's Tuesday, it must be Papertake Weekly time and this week it's also all about

Easter Treats

and we are sponsored by my 2 fave ribbon-istas, Mary & Andrea aka

The Ribbon Girl

ribbon girl logo

and there's a ...

... up for grabs :)

 Picture 006

This is what I did.

I decided to use one of my new Magnolias which arrived from Simon Says Stamp - she is Happy Easter Tilda.

Picture 012

I coloured her with these Copics  -

Skin - E000, E00, E11, E13 R00, R02

Hair - E41, E42, E43, E50

The rest - RV000, RV00, RV01, RV23

The papers are from the new Nitwits Good Hare Day collection (I love the names that Mary Fran gives to her collections - they always make me smile).

 Picture 010

Some  Wild Orchid Crafts blooms and a sweet  sentiment from  Lili of The Valley's Set 18 - Greetings Postmarks set

 Picture 011

Some 16mm Fuschia Pink Pencil Stripe ribbon, Natural Button Twine (both from  The Ribbon Girl)  and a heart charm.

  Picture 007

Picture 008

And after a mammoth post, I think we're done!! Thank you sweet peeps for bearing with me xxx

I'm off to do the next thing on my mahoosive list before the crime prevention bods come out tomorrow. Fingers crossed that they think we've done what we need to!!

I hope that you are all having a great evening and I'll be back soon as soon.

Till then, take care and huggiest of hugs to all xxx

It’s Hoppity Hop Time :)

  Picture 006 copy

Good morning crafters, thanks for stopping by!

Today we’re holding a Lili of the Valley

sneaky peek blog hop

to celebrate the launch of the gorgeous new Spring stamps!
The first 6 were released last week and the remaining 11 will be available on the 30th January. There are 9 more super cute rubber stamps and also 2 new clear sets (an alphabet and some stitching borders).

You will be able to buy all the stamps on the Lili of the Valley website from midday on Wednesday 30th (UK time) and you will also be able to get them at their showroom in Leeds if you are near enough to visit

The fantastic Design Team are all taking part, you just need to ‘hop’ from one blog to another following the links and leave a comment on each card.  We hope that you will pick up lots of ideas and inspiration along the way.

We don’t know where the prizes are so make sure that you visit them all. We will let you know tomorrow evening which were the ‘lucky’ blogs and 2 winners will be drawn at random from all the comments that were left on those 2 blogs.

Each winner will get the 2 sets of clear stamps and also 6 rubber stamps of their choice from the new designs :)

So, what did I do then?

Picture 002 copy

…. it’s this card here. I used

Watering The Flowers

and I coloured it with Distress Inks in these colours -

Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, Worn Lipstick, Fired Brick, Barn Door, Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters,

- and then I outlined the image with Glamour Dust.

Picture 005 copy

An arrangement made up of  Ribbon Girl and Wild Orchid Crafts blooms with a punched heart and a little pearly star.

The papers are all from Nitwits – the FQB Perfect Pear Collection – and these are soon going to be available at Lili of The Valley as 8x8 paper packs.

Picture 003 copy

The bows are also from  The Ribbon Girl  - 15mm Shocking Pink No 72 Small Check Gingham – and I topped them with a pale lime green small spotty button and some natural button twine.

Picture 004 copy

Ok now back to the hop and here's a list of all the blogs taking part  ...

Ideas To Inspire
Anne
Bev
Dawny P
(me!!)
Dena
Elise

Fleur

Gretha

Lou

Mindy

… and remember you will need to visit them all to have the best chance of winning. Good luck to everybody who enters and we hope that you have enjoyed the sneak peeks and cards today :)

I’ll be back tomorrow so until then, have a fab day and hugs to all xxx

The Wanderer Returns & Soooo Much To Tell :)

Picture 019c copy

Hi there lovliest of peeps and I hope that you are all OK.

It feels like it’s been ages since I last posted so I’ll get the card bit out of the way and then we can have a good old gossip!!! But firstly, thank you for all your lovely e-mails wondering where I got to and checking that I was okay – how sweet and kind you are, bless ya little cotton socks, mmmwaaahhhh xxx

It’s a wet and windy Tuesday here today (nothing to do with me!!) but nothing like it was yesterday when we had a hailstorm with mahoosive hail stones, lightening and the loudest thunder I think I’ve ever heard.  Our house literally shook and so did I!!!  But wet and windy aside, it’s time to nip over and check out what’s been happening over at Papertake Weekly and this week we are

In The Garden

Well not literally of course – it is far too wet and windy of course :(  - but we want to see anything floral or to do with the garden included in your work.

We are sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps and there is a fab prize up for grabs so if you get a sec, nip and check it all out peeps.

Picture 013c copy

So this is me card and I’ll run through all the stuff I used really quickly so I can get to the goss :)

The image I used is of course from  Lili Of The Valley and she is Milly Me & My Dog, I coloured her with the following Copics -

Skin -  E000, E00, E11, E21, R00, R20

Hair – E43, E50, E81

The rest – E43, E50, E81, R85, RV0000, RV000, RV00, YG0000, YG00, YG03

and all the papers are from NitwitsFQB Butterfly Kisses and FQB Confection collections.

Picture 017c copy

Ohh I am LOVING these new LOTV sentiments – they are from Set 24.

You can use them to make up your own sentiments and there are 36 different ones in the set which makes them pretty darn good value in my book.

Picture 016c copy

The bow was made using some gorgeous 15mm Shocking Pink No 72 Microdot Ribbon  which is of course from my fave Geordie girlies at  The Ribbon Girl (fab to chat today Mary xxx).

I topped it with a sweetheart blossom from Wild Orchid Crafts ……..

Picture 0118c copy

… and this little arrangement was made using various bloomage which was also from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Delish :)

Picture 014c copy

Picture 015c copy

So that's the old card done.

It's been a mad  couple of weeks putting it mildly. Basically I had a few problems with my router and therefore had trouble connecting to the Internet, but eventually it got sorted.

Then there was a real crisis here.

You may or may not know but we breed birds of prey here and this time of  year is our busiest as we have eggs and chicks coming out of our ears - not literally of course!!!   But there are eggs hatching all the time and chicks that need feeding. Then there’s  equipment that needs sterilising, food that needs preparing etc etc and on it goes.   Amongst all this last week,  we had two very poorly chicks and to be honest, we really thought they were going to die. We were up for two nights solid with them and of course we were both pretty knackered by the end of it.  I really didn't have any energy left to craft to be fair.

But the good news is that they survived. How they pulled through I honestly do not know, but they did and they are both healthy and strong, so a happy ending there – phew!!!!.  But as we have new chicks being hatched all the time, it gets a bit like Groundhog Day!!

So with all this going on, I didn't get chance to post anything on here really last week.  But of course the weekend before, we had the open weekend at Lili of the Valley and what a fabulous two days it was. I got to meet lots of lovely crafters, including some of my lovely blog buddies and I hope they will forgive me for not mentioning each of them by name, but they know who they are and it was fabulous to meet up with them all.

But the was one special crafter who I just have to mention because he just about stole my heart!!!

And here he is ……

So Proud

… meet my little friend Bobby.

He is the son of the sweetness that is Tracy over at the Country Mouse blog and Tracy, I hope you don't mind me nicking this pic of him chick xxx   This kid is amazing, he really is. We chatted for ages about crafting and how he loves his Pro Markers (I think they are Mum’s really lol !!) and by the end of it I just wanted to take him home. I mean, how could you resist that little face!!! He is going to be a real charmer when he grows up for sure, and hugs to him from Aunty Piggy xxx.

And then last weekend we had  the craft fair at Port Sunlight.  As always, the show was really busy and again it was wonderful to see all the lovely crafters, even if we didn't really get chance to have a proper chat as we were sooo busy. I have to say that this is one of my favourite craft fairs,  and it has a special atmosphere all of  it’s own :)  It’s nice to see familiar faces there and of course, working with Richard from LOTV (Laila’s brother)  is guaranteed to be a good laugh cos he is soooo funny. And he is Liverpool supporter as well, yayyyy :)

In between the open weekend and Port Sunlight,  I  met up with  Rosemary Merry. You’ll know Rosemary  from Create & Craft and she has a gorgeous craft shop ( Crab Apple Crafts) in Frodsham which isn’t too far from here.

Well I have some FAB news to share cos I'm going to be doing classes at the shop, starting in July and I am soo excited. I’ll let you know more details soon as soon :)

Right well I think I’ve probably waffled enough but before I go, I have to say the biggest

THANK YOU

to everyone who has sent me jumpers for the babies.

I cannot tell you how thrilled I have been with the response. I expected a few but I think we are over 100 now. I will get around to sending out thank you emails but as per the above, the last few weeks have been crazy. I have lots of pics of them and I’m working out where to put them on here because I want to share them all. I didn't dream that so many of you would send them to me so I am a bit behind with me emails etc. But I will sort it and get them on here. Maybe I could put them in the sidebar (she says as a light has just come on in the pea brain – it is a shame sometimes!!!).

I’ll be back tomoz and thanks for bearing with me through this looooooooon post peeps. I’ll get off now and  leave you with a sneakie peekie   …….

Picture 006c copy

… and all will be revealed in the morrow.

Huggiest of hugs to all and it is so nice to be back xxxxx

So that’s it from me today.

I am a tad on the late side adding this cos it’s been one of those bitty days. You know, when you don't actually get much done but you never seem to stop. And ladyship is in residence so I am guessing where we are off for tea!!!  But I’ll be back tomoz and I’ll do my blast from the past as I didn't manage to get on here yesterday due to having to finish off a very big job which has been lurking for a week or so.

I’m going to Aintree in the afternoon to pick up some dies but it is a flying visit unfortunately – no time to stop and shop, cry cry. So I’ll see you before I head off.

Till them. have a great Friday evening and huggiest of hugs to all xxx
