Morning peeps and this is the first of 2 posts today – more in a sec!!

Today over at the Lili Of The Valley Thursday challenge we have gone all soppy – must be something to do with some wedding or other tomorrow – and our theme is

Love Is In The Air

(I do hope that you aren't stuck for the rest of the day with that God-awful song going round your head – sorry Mr JP Young but it makes me cringe a bit – reminds me of drunk people pretending they like each other at weddings and parties!!)

Anyway there is as always a fab prize up for grabs donated by the loveliest of lovelies, Lisa & Laila …

.. is my card.

A really quick and easy peasy one this cos I used a cute square  :)

I used the new Nitwits papers which are from the Promises Collection and the MS PATP punch which I have forgotten the name of (sorry Carol – again lol!!!)

 

The bow is actually made using 2 different ribbons, both from The Ribbon Girl –  25mm satin in dark purple  and some open weave in lavender. I used one of the huge heart charms and I love that it is so big and funky, I really do :)

Spot old piggy’s face in the reflection – I look like I’m in the hall of mirrors at the fair, ooooops!!!

So that’s me done for now but I will be back shortly with something a bit special so see you in a bit and hugs to all in the meantime xxx

Morning lovely peeps and I hope you are all well.

If the forecast is to be believed we are in for a lovely hot day in London and as we are doing the tourist thing that is all good :)

Today is the second of the scheduled posts,  and please God it has worked OK!!!

It’s Thursday and the last working day before the good old Bank Hol and time for a catch up with the Lili Of The Valley Thursday challenge girlies.

Today we want to see those Easter cards …

… and this is mine, just for you :)

No Copics today cos I did the cheaty McCheat thing again and used one of the new Die Cut Design sheets – Spring Rabbits. I just love these cos all the work is done for you :)

The papers are from the Nitwits Egg-stra Special collection

I also used a LOTV Happy Circular Sentiments stamp. The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and I used Pencil Stripe in Meadow Green and added a cute lil sweetheart blossom from the one and only Wild Orchid Crafts

   

I used a few more sweetheart blossoms and some other  WOC blooms as well -  daffodils,  a 25mm wild rose, some tea rosebuds and some long stem stamens.

So I’m all done with the scheduled stuff for now and hope it has worked out OK.

I’ll be back with something JM-ish tomorrow and I’ll leave you with a little sneakie peekie …

New Stash Fest :)

 

Hi peeps and hope you are all ok and that you had a lovely Mother’s day where you got spoiled rotten and loads of giftage!!

Its a perfect excuse today to use any new bits and bobs you got, either on Sunday or if you had a good old shop at the NEC cos over at  Papertake Weekly we have an

Anything Goes

theme with an optional extra to use something new.

Well with all the brand new stuff out  I was spoiled for choice really!!!

But in the end  I went for this oh so sweet lil cutie.

She is from the new Friends and Flowers Cute Squares sheet which will be released soon – I think you maybe able to get her at Ally Pally.  If you think she is cute, wait till you get a load of the other stuff on the sheet – and all of it so beautifully drawn.

I just added a smidgeon of glitter to the rose – I cannot help meself!!!.

The  ribbon stamp is from the new LOTV Additions range which is being released in the shop on 19th April  and again if you can’t wait and you are going to Ally Pally, you can get it from there.

The other thing that is new is the latest edition to my MS PATP collection.

When I say collection, I only had one which is why the same on is always on here, but it now has a friend to keep it company lol!!!  My Nicola got it me for Mothers day. She was convinced that I should have perfume or clothes but no, this is just what I wanted.

And if you want to see a REAL collection, then nip over here to Dies To Die For cos Tracy has loads of them :)

But they do count as gorge  :)

I saw these little flowers on Mummy Fairy Jac’s blog and she had put a link to here which is where you can see how they are made.   I think they are so pretty.

They were finished off with a yummy self adhesive pearl from Wild Orchid Crafts :)

So that’s me done and I’m off now to finish my SSS card for tomoz so as it is still in bits,  there isn't a sneakie peek but I’ll see you back here with the finished article in the morning.

I have to say that I am not that old.

No really, I wasn’t even born when he did THAT song but I am old enough that I know it and knew of old Jerry Lee. Now if you young uns want to see what I’m talking about, check out the vid …… and get a load of that hair. I don’t want to think too much about what it is he is shaking, but there is a whole lot of it going on lol :)

So this is what I did.

I did the cheaty McCheat thing again and used …

…a cute square so no Copics today. 

I do love these little sausages – they are perfect for all sorts of stuff and they are coloured to perfection :)

So what did I punch?

Yes, it’s the circles – another cheaty McCheat for making scalloped borders.

The papers are Wild Rose Studio Polka Dots Paper Stacks which you  can get from Tracy over at Dies To Die For and the pretty self adhesive pearls are of course from Wild Orchid Crafts.

And speaking of Wild Orchid Crafts, here’s some beautiful blooms :)

So that’s me all finished for today peeps. 

I’m getting everything ready today for the trip to Brum on Saturday. 

I’m planning to mooch about and do some catching up and maybe a little bit of shopping and of course I am going to see my lovely Mrs Kath again.  And that’s not all, cos I am finally going to meet my lovely Lols, all the way from sunny Malta :) and there’s quite a few other lovely peeps going to be there as well.

To say I cannot wait is putting it mildly.

Then on Sunday, you can catch me on the LOTV stand so if you are about,  do come and say howdy. I promise you I am not as mad as I sound on here lol (well maybe I am a bit!!)

So I am off to make a start on the packing and I’ll see you bright and early tomoz.

So I decided to do something I don't often do … … a little bit of decoupage.

A little bit is the operative word here cos although I do like me dimension (you might have noticed lol) , I don't like to see 26 gazillion layers sticking out from an image.

OK slight exaggeration there. 

So I just added a little bit …..

… like so :)

The Lili Of The Valley Cute Squares are perfect for this kind of technique.

    

I did one of me arrangement things with these  beautiful Wild Orchid Crafts blooms and I just could not resist using  one of the new trellis roses which I dotted with some Diamond Stickles.
