Hello my lovelies - it's been a wee while since I've been over here and what a few weeks it's been!!
Firstly I had a nasty abscess on my gum - not nice but not as painful as it could have been. I managed to get to speak to the dentist after a week and she gave me some antibiotics - they did not agree with me and I felt really yukky. I then got an actual appointment last week and she thinks it's not actually a gum abscess after all but a sinus problem.
So it's all up in the air.
Then on Wednesday I went for my Covid jab. I wasn't too good yesterday but I'm right as rain again today.
Sooo glad I had it.
So hopefully things will get back to normal now.
I'm posting a card which I made using the brand new Tonic Studios Stamp Club issue - this is Compassion and Poppies.
17 stamps 18 dies in this set and it's a stunner.
I'll pop my affiliate links at the bottom so you can check it out.
I've also popped a video together with some of the other samples I made, another step by step project and some hints and tips which you might find useful.
You can check that out here -

So ....
... this is what I did.
These poppies are so easy to colour and don't take very long at all.
Also there are dies in the set that allow you to cut out your flowers if you want, so if you're anything like me, and you know I'm very honest about the fact that I am rubbish at cutting out, then they're worth their weight in gold for sure.
There are 6 different sentiments which you can really stretch to make more and if you have a look at the video, I'll show you how to cut up your long sentiments if you want a longer border at each end, which you wouldn't get if you just snipped them up
It's a really easy technique which I hope you'll find useful.
Lovely words :)
So that's the card for today and I'll be back tomorrow with another one for you.
Stay safe and well and crafty hugs xxx
