Pretty Pink Papertake xxx

Here's Ballerina Anya. Isn't she sweet :))

She even has her own tiara, complete with a diamond!!

I used her for my Papertake Weekly challenge which this week is based on one of me sketches.

And here's me card.

I coloured her with the old faithful PMs and there's lashings of Glamour Dust on this. I'm still covered with it. God knoss what they must think when I go into our local shop!!! Even worse, Richard has been known to twinkle a bit when he's been in my craft room.

Ballerina Anya is from the very wonderful Dies To Die For - Tracy has a whole heap of different Anyas so check out the website cos they are so verrry sweet.

I 3D'd her tutu cos I wanted it to look a bit 'frothy' - hope you know what I mean.

The papers are PP Little Fleurs. I was talking to Liz last week and I said to her that this was the very first PP product I ever bought and it is still one of my all time faves. I just love that collection. The ribbon was in my US parcel from my wonderful friend xx

I used my other MS embossed scalloped border punch which I got from Dies To Die For and I covered it (and me) in Glamour Dust which you can see a bit better here.

I found the blingie squares in my craft room but I've had them that flippin long that a) they'd lost their sticky and b) I cannot remember where I got them from - doh!!!. The scalloped base card is by Papermania and I think I got them from the Paper Mill Shop.

Kyla made this at nursery. There was a chocolate covered strawberry for each of us and they came in their very own container. She obviously shares my thing for buttons and bling!! That's my girl xxxx

Now I know you will probably think I am the meanest Grandma in the world, but there is no way on Gods green earth that I could ever bring myself to eat it. Who knows what might be lurking, and please don't think about it for too long peeps cos the thought is retch-worthy!!!

I'm afraid we had to play the 'thank-you-so-much- darling-I-am-going-to-save-this-until-you-are-in-bed-and-have-it-for-my-supper' card again.

I say 'we' but Richard had no such qualms. He downed his in one!!!
Probably the best way but it still aint ever going to happen sadly.

A Triple Bugga - Boo xxx

I haven't done a multi challenge for a while, but I thought that today I'd have a go.

I thought I'd use of the new CC Designs Bugga- Boos images cos they are so very sweet and me and my bad boy PMs have been just itching to colour her.

This image is part of a set of 3 which you can get over at Dies To Die For. They are a really good size to work with and being CC Designs, they are fabulous quality and give a really good stamp.

So the challenges I've done are -

Stamp With Fun, which this week is Dots.

Well I do love me dotty papers (wonder why lol xxx)

Over at Colour Create, this week the colour combi is blush pink, lilac and mossy green.

and for the layout I used the lovely sketch over at Stamp Something.

The papers I used are all Pink Petticoat. The green dotty paper is from the new Big Fella collection - but they aren't just for the boys cos I think that the spotty green looks lovely with the pink and lilac.

The ribbon is grosgrain and is from Poppicrafts and there is a super sale on the grosgrains at the mo. It's bargainous so check it out peeps.

The blooms are also Poppicrafts and the charm was made by my own fair trotters lol xxx

I hope you all had a fab weekend. Ours was busy busy from Friday night until about 6pm last night!!! The theatre on Friday was surprisingly better than I dared hope and it turns out that the bloke Richard works with not only produced and directed the play, but he also wrote it as well!! I have to say that it kept your attention and it was really quite clever. He obviously has talent and I hope that one day it's recognised by someone. Not only that, he is a really nice man as well.

Richard's cousin and his wife were up from London so we all went to the Zoo on Saturday. We picked a great day cos the weather was gorgeous and we all got a bit sunburnt. Then it was back home, quick change and then out again for din dins!! Then were out again for Sunday lunch but instead of having pud in the restaurant, we all went back to Richard's Mums and had scones and cream with strawberries. We sat in the garden feeling quintessentially English and had a very pleasant afternoon.

R and I decided when we got home that due to the copious amounts of grub that we have been shoveling down at the rate of knots, we would try and redeem ourselves and go on a bike ride. When we got home though, we found that my bike had a mahoosive puncture (thank you daughter no 2!!) and we had no repair kit so that plan went out of the window.

So we decided to walk the food off instead. We decided to try one of the footpaths in the village which we have passed loads of times but never been along., Well it was fab. We walked for ages and didn’t see a single soul - very peaceful. I was going to make cards etc last night but we were so tired that by 8.30pm I was nodding off - it is my age, I know lol xxx

The sharp eyed amongst you may have noticed that there is something different re my pics today. Well that is because due to circumstances beyond my control (thank you daughter no 2 again - she is not doing very well is she lol xx), my usual photo editing prog does not seem to want to work. I try and open it and the screen icon appears but that's it. So I have used something else. I can't make up my mind if they are better or worse. Let me know what you think - you can be truthful!! And if anyone knows how to fix this prob, I would be ever so grateful for any advice or tips!!

Tilda & Some Sad News xxx

Well firstly, the good news.

Here's me card for this weeks Just Magnolia challenge, which this week is paper piecing. I LOVE this technique, I really do.

So natch, I coloured Tilda with PMs and loads of Glamour Dust and I paper pieced her welly boots - funky or what!!! Those gorgoeus papers are Daisy Bucket So Happy Together and Doodlebug Ladybug Picnic. Both these fabby papers are available at Dies To Die For so check them out lovelies.

There is something so striking about red, black and white and I think it has to be one of my fave colour combis.

You can see the papers a bit better here. Ohh I just noticed that you can also see the flippin glue from the black stick ons. That'll teach me to check the edited pics more carefully!!!!

I punched out the flowers and I added one of me charms - I am so into them at the mo.

And there you go.
I have to say that I really like this - apart from the glue. I dont often really like what I've done cos I am so picky with my stuff, but I am almost 100% happy with this one.

Shock horror.

My sodding punch is broken.

My beloved doily punch is no more.

Sorry peeps if you thought it was something BAD.
I mean it is BAD for me but then again, I need to get out more!!!! .

Oh I could have cried. I was doing my good deed for the day and punching out some borders for someone who I promised them to ages ago, and it was playing up again - it does this when I over work it. Well I thought it was just having another one of its diva strops, but no. The next thing I knew, it had come apart in my hand.

Mon Dieu!!!!

Luckily for moi, the wonderful Tracy at Dies To Dies For is expecting some more some day soon so I can get a new one then. Phew, bless ya Tracy cos I would have really gone into meltdown and it aint good for me blood pressure at the mo.

So there ya go.

We are off to the theatre tonight. Before you think I've gone all cultured, it's only a local theatre. Some bloke who Richard works with is directing this play so he, Richard, has kindly volunteered us to go and see it. It is apparently a murder mystery, and if turns out to be dreadful then there will indeed be a murder. There will however be no mystery about it cos I will ruddy kill his Lordship!!!!

She's busy baking - and get a load of her fab eye shadow. Delia doesn't look like that when she's in the kitchen for sure :))x

As well as getting her as a download, she is now available as a stamp over at Willow Designs. And I thought I'd use her for this week's Willow Sketchie Challenge which is based on a fab sketch by Zoe

So here's my take on her sketch.

Winnie was coloured, as always, with my beloved PMs. The papers are a mixture of Tinker & Co and Mad About Cards and the ribbon was sent to me by my friend in the US of A xxx

I got the bees I think from when I did that craft sale, and also the vellum stickers which I used for the sentiment - they are just stuck onto squares of card.

Them there bees are so sweet. Oh and can you see the MSBP peeping out.

Not a lot of dimension here, but I'm still quite pleased with it.

Well it's a short but sweet one tonight. I intended to get this posted ages ago but I worked till quite late, and then we had visitors and they have only just gone.

Pretty Pink & A Peekie xxx

How cute is she!!!

She is one of the Greetings Farm Hope & Grace set which are absolutely adorable and are available over at Dies To Die For.

To be honest, I don't know if she is Hope or if she is Grace - I think she looks like a Grace - but they are both so sweet.

The minute I saw this image, I thought 'pink' and while I was over at Chez Kaths' I saw her fabulous card for the Allsorts Challenge and I thought I must go and have a look. So when I got there, I saw that the very sweet Emma - Metalic Butterfly - is on the DT and I met her at Harrogate and she is so lovely. And then I saw that this week the challenge is pink and white!!!

Well I practically squealed lol xx

So this is my card.

I coloured the lil cutie with the usual PM and GD combi. I paper pieced part of of the image and the paper is from Wild Rose Studios Spring CD

I nicked Katie's LO again - I hope you don't mind hunnykins.

But I love it so much xxxx

The beautiful bloom is from Poppicrafts - as are the brads - and I made another charm which sadly you can't see too well here due to the crap job by the dreadful photography editor (moi)!!! .

These blooms were a RAK and I sprinkled the GD over the cerise ones. I think they look like those edible flowers you can get - like they've been dippd in sugar.

I just LOVE this sentiment.

We should all smile more I think. I know it gives you laughter lines (and God knows I should know all about that cos I have plenty of the beggars). BUT but they look more attractive than grumpy old furrowy scowly lines.

Dont ya think?

Ooops - the ribbon has changed colour!!!

The gorgeous pink and white spotty grosgrain is from Poppicrafts and the satin cerise ribbon which looks red here (it's not, honest) is from The Paper Mill Shop. It's on offer at the mo and it's really nice - good quality as well.

Well it's getting late and I am off to get the sex goddess outfit on. I have an added addition to the usual nightly get up of bri-nylon pjs & 1" thick face cream. Oh yes, I got meself a pair of those little cotton socks (bless them, lol xx) from Tescos, so now I can plaster the trotters in whatever axle grease is to hand and wear them while I sleep.

I am living the dream peeps lol xxx

Shoe Time xxx

I am sooo nervous peeps cos it's a bit scary !!!

No, not me card - although Bet Lynch is springing to mind every time I look at it and she is fairly scary in all fairness!!! And it's quite different from my usual style so I've deviated a bit here.

The scary bit is cos it's my first time at the helm over at Papertake Weekly so natch I am a bit nervous. But the girlies have all been so supportive and Steph has been on hand (loads of times - sorry chick!!) to help me. Thanks to everyone - I really do appreciate it all xxxxx

So our theme this week is 'Shoe Time'.

Anything goes as long as there is a something 'shoe-ey' in there somewhere.

So breaking with Piggy tradition, ie PMs and Glamour Dust - ohh it was tough for me lol xxx - I found an old Sissix die so I used that. 'Scuse the awful lighting here peeps - still as awesome as ever you'll notice re me pics (not), so some things haven't changed lol xx

That fab leopard paper is PP Tiny Little Leopard Prints - I LOVE it!!!

I have to give credit to my Dies To Die For team mate Katie cos I sort of cased the layout from one of her awesome cards. Well not 'sort of ' really, cos I nicked it fair and square!!! Hope that's ok darlin but I just loved it so much xxxxx

Now I can't take credit for this quote either and I can't for the life of me remember where I first heard it, but it makes me smile a bit. I just printed it out on the old puter, which seems (trotters etc crossed) to be back to normal.

The flower is just an EK Success punched one and the buttons were in an old bag of bits that were hiding at the bottom of my bits and bobs box. They're a bit funky-tastic I thought. Just the sort of thing that Richard Whitely (God rest him) would have on his blazers lol xxx

I've had some really lovely comments re my sketches which I am just thrilled about - thank you xxxx. I thought I might put them all together on a seperate blog so that they are all kept together. It might come in handy hopefully, so I'll be sorting that one day soon and will let you know once it's done. Hopefully by the end of the week with a bit of luck!!!

I'm off to rest my gigantic stomach cos we've just been out to Frankie & Benny's for our din dins cos Emma and Kyla are away until tomorrow. So Richard suggested we nip out rather than me having to cook - bless him xxx So Piggy by name and piggy by nature and I am stuffed (such a greedy girl!!!). I only had one course but it was mahoosive. I now look like Jimmy 5 bellies. My stretchy top is stretched beyond it's limits - and no, I am really not joking, cos it looks like it's had a face lift!!!!

So I am going to waddle slowly back to the lounge and chill - it's PJ time I reckon.

And chubby fingers crossed that the challenge goes OK!!!

Her name is Tilly and I think she's fabulous!!

She is part of a CC Designs set which you can get from the very wonderful Dies To Die For and this set is brilliant. Not only does it have this lil cutie, but there are 11 different sentiments incuded and they are really funny, and absolutely perfect for all sorts of occasions.

So anyhoos, this is my card for not one, but 2 challenges.

I used the gorgeous sketch over at Inspirational Card Sketches and also, this weeks challenge over at Secret Crafter is Bling!!! Well, say no more girls, cos this is blinged to within an inch of its life!!!

Naturally, I coloured her with PMs and sprinkled Glamour Dust with gay abandon all over the show!!!

The pink paper is from the Wild Rose Studio Spring CD which I love, and there is a Poppicrafts bloom. The blingie brad is also Poppicrafts and I made a little charm thing with some beads and crystals, (having said that I wouldn't do it again lol xx).

But I've been making jewellery this afternoon and it was sort of there and I couldnt help myself!!! The ribbon is from my stash from the US xx

I made the cow print paper myself (using the Paint software that came with the puter - easy peasy). Then I added a bit more Glamour Dust - it was everywhere by the time I'd finished!! The domed diamond things are Kars and I got them at Creative Pastimes :))x

Well thanks to Helen, my flippin PC seems to be a bit better today.

Not much waffle tonight cos it's a bit late and I'm a bit tired, having gotten up with Kyla at stupid o'clock this morning cos my dear Richard put the baby gate across the landing to stop her going downstairs - good idea. Unfortunately, he put it across in such a way that she could not go into Mummy's room - bad idea, very very bad idea!!

Cos guess where she ended up???? Ay, in our room.

But before I go up the wooden hills, I have to say some thank yous for a couple of awards. Firstly, to Helen for this little treasure. Thank you chick - it's fab and I LOVE lemonade :))) xxxx

And last but by no means least, to my wonderful friend Kath. I am so chuffed that she gave me this - she gave it to me and to Terrie B as well. I've had the absolute pleasure of meeting both of these talented and wonderful ladies and they are 2 of the nicest people you could ever meet.

Kath, from my heart, thank you, not only for this, but also for your friendship. And one day, the 3 of us will meet up together for sure xxxx
