Hi peeps and it’s a bit of a Happy Christmas at the old piggy sty today – well it’s too nice to just keep until December :)
I thought it was about time I did another giveaway and doing my card for this week’s Lili Of The Valley challenge sort of got me thinking, so more of that in a sec.
We have a beautiful sketch for you this week by our very own Bev, and …

… here it is.
I LOVED working with it and judging by the wonderful DT cards, I don't think I was alone (do check them out if you get a sec peeps cos they are ohhh so fab :)
So this is my take in the sketch.
So this is my take in the sketch.
I didn't get the Copics out today, instead I adopted a Cheaty McCheat approach and used one of the LOTV die cuts. I know I’ve said this before but they are all just fabulous and perfect for your chrimbly cards as all the work is done for you.
I used Warm & Cozy which is one of my faves and I love the fact that it’s traditional Christmas colours as well. I just added a little bit of Glamour Dust to give it a bit of extra sparkle :)

I am getting very addicted to these holly leaves which are of course from the awesome Wild Orchid Crafts and the buttons and twine make nice berries which give a funky look I think.
I didn’t have any green twine, so I just coloured some plain twine with me old Pro Markers (I still have them!!). It’s a tip I got from my lovely blog bud, the fabby Mrs Kath xxxx
The border punch is a newie and I would image that it will make more than a few appearances cos it’s gorgeous. It’s the MS Deep Edger Flower bed punch which of course you can get from our Tracy over at Dies To Die For.

It’s a real sturdy beggar this one. I used it on 220gsm card stock and it coped really well.
The paper is Pink Petticoat Stripes and I really like it with this image as it picks up the stripes in their little hats – awwww!! And the little coloured pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts as well – keep checking the website peeps cos they are new in and there are soooo many different colours.

The sentiment is from Lili Of The Valley – they have some fabulous downloadable stuff - you can check them all out here.
And now for a bit of candy :)
As I said before, I LOVE these die cuts – they really are no brainers – and the range is fantastic; there seems to be one for almost every occasion. So I thought it might be nice to put together a little pack of stuff, which includes them, as a giveaway.
The picture isn’t very good I’m afraid peeps …..

… but basically, what you get is 3 LOTV stamps, 10 Christmas Die Cut sheets including the one I used on my card today – it should help you on your way with your Chrizzie makes, and 10 Die Cuts sheets for general card making.
All you have to do is
become a follower if you aren't already,
mention it on your blog and link back to me here, and finally
leave your name with Mr Linky ( but not necessarily in that order lol xxx)
The candy will run for 2 weeks and I’ll get Mr Random Thing to choose a winner and I’ll announce who it is when I do the next LOTV challenge in 2 weeks time so 5th August.
I’ll ship anywhere in the world and there’ll be one or 2 extra goodies in the parcel as well cos it’s nice to have a surprise I think :)
So on that note, I’ll love you and leave you. I hope everyone is well and I’ll see ya tomorra with a bit of Tilda-tastic-ness (if me card is dry by then cos I’ve used something so gorge on it that I sat and drooled all over it – how lovely!!!
Huggiest of hugs xxx
