It’s a Verrrry Long Challenge Title ….

Picture 003 copy

… over at Papertake Weekly today, cos it’s

Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed & Something Blue.

You could use some old stash, or maybe something that you just bought, or maybe use blue as your colour theme, or maybe you want to make a wedding card. You could use one, two three or even all of those things.

Being a smart Alex, I tried to use all 4 ( but not the wedding card bit!!)  and  think I got 3 and a half to be honest cos one of them didn't work out right.

That will teach me in future!!

The something old was the image, the new was the snowflake dies and the blue is fairly obv!!. The borrowed bit was where I came unstuck because I was going to ‘borrow’ Bev’s idea for acetate snowflakes but my Cuttlebug just would not cut them out, cry cry!.

So I had to use paper instead..

I got the old Copics out and coloured Tilda and Eddie in these colours -

B0000, B12, B32, B93, C00, C1. C3, C5, E00, E21, E35, E42, E50, E57, R11, R20

Then I splashed the Glamour Dust about a lot.  You should see the cat, poor thing - she looks gayer than Mardi Gras!!!!!! (sorry, I hope that doesn’t offend anybody!!)

sf1

Do you like the snowflakes?

They are my new Marianne Design Creatables (style 1)  which I got from Tracy at Dies To Die For.

sf2

I inked the edges of the largest ones with a bit of shimmery chalk and layered then up and added a blingy bit.

The silver mesh ribbon is from my stash.

sf3

The punches are of course both MS Border punches, the doily lace and embossed zig zag bad boys which of course I got from Dies To Die For And the paper which is very gorge I think, is actually from Lili Of The Valley, they have some really pretty papers which work so well with their images  and you can check them out here lovely peeps.

The wavy sentiment was in a Papermania set which I have had for yonks, so that is an ‘old’ thing as well.

And that’s me card.

If you get a sec, check out the challenge peeps cos we are sponsored by Katharina at Whiff Of Joy and there is a lovely stamp up for grabs :)xxx And we have a GDT call as well if anybody fancies joining us for 4 weeks.

I am on a another flyer today lovelies because the work mountain does not seem to be getting any smaller, I have a commission to finish, shopping to do (it’s like Mother Hubbard's cupboard here at the mo!!), the cat to de-glitter (I don’t want the neighbourhood cats talking about her lol xxx) and God knows what else as well.

If there is life after death and we come back here, I am coming back as a man for sure!!!

Have a great day peeps and see you soon and huggiest of hugs to all xxx

Wow, all that glitter and bling! My downfall is seeing where I should add embellishments to take a good card to great. Love yours though!
