Sneaky Peeky Papertake Weekly

Picture 007 copy

Hi there lovely peeps and hope you are all OK today :)

Over at Papertake Weekly today, it’s time for our monthly

Anything Goes

challenge which we know you all love as you can really get creative and do your own thing.

As always we have an optional extra for you and this month it is to use felt somewhere on your card or project. But of course you don’t HAVE to – it’s there only as an option

As always we are sponsored by Lisa & Laila over at

Lili of The Valley

and they have given us a …

… to give to one lucky winner.

Hugest of thanks for a fabulous prize :)xxx

So …

Picture 001 copy

… here’s me card and it’s also a bit of a sneaky peekie cos this little cutie will be out in rubber very soon.

He’s called

Pup’s Christmas Stocking

and he’s one of the brand new release which will be out on 22nd August (not too much longer to wait now).

I gave him the Copics treatment and these are the colours I used – E09, E31, E34, E35, E39, E40, E42, E42, E43, E50, E51. E53, E81, G99, R05, R17, R27, R59, YG0000, YG00, YG03, YG63

The papers are all from the Wild Rose Studio Traditional Christmas paper pack – nice and bright and zingy which is just how I like ‘em!!!

Picture 004 copy

Some beauties here from The Ribbon Girl.

A bow made from 15mm Red No.15 Berisford Satin ribbon and topped off with some natural button twine and a Pale Lime Green Small Polka Dot Spotty Button.

I also used some gorgeous 30mm Cream Zig Zag Cotton Lace …. and then went and covered most of it up, being the dope that I am!!!!

Picture 006 copy

A greeting printed onto some SAFMAT Self-Adhesive Printing Film and then popped onto some kraft card.

Why is it that when kraft card was really big, I didn’t like it and now it’s not quite as popular, I am loving it????

Picture 002 copy

Picture 003 copy

So there’s the old card done and if you get a sec peeps, nip over and check out the challenge.

I am busy doing my prep for this forthcoming weekend over at the LOTV shop.

summeropenday.gif

My classes are now all fully booked and hugest of thanks to everyone who is partaking – I cannot wait to see you all  :) xxx

I THINK  there may be one or two spaces on Bev’s (and it is literally one or two) so if you haven’t booked and you want to do so, best get in fast before those precious places go. The shop really is a nice place to be – chock full of lots of pretty things -  and it is good for the creative part of the soul  as well. I tell you peeps, the old mojo is well and truly revved up when I’ve been there.

AND if that wasn’t all, you can now get your mitts on the brand new 8x8 paper packs which are exclusive to LOTV.

Some are by Nitwits, some have been designed by our Laila and all are fabulous. They will be on sale on the website soon and will sell at £7.50 which is amazing VFM peeps. Mine arrived here today and I haven’t stopped drooling yet (yes I know that is quite normal for me in my advanced years but it’s even worse now !!).  So if you are coming along to the shop, you will be able to bag yourselves some to take home :)

Right I better go and start my list of jobs.

Have the bestest day and see you back here tomoz.

Huggiest of hugs to all xxx

Welcome to the Wild Rose Studio FESTIVE FROLICS Blog Hop :-)

And you can check out all of the new Christmas Designs right here.

And if you fancy joining in with the Festive Frolics theme, you will have a chance to win this FABULOUS Grand Prize. You don't even  have to use a Wild Rose Studio image,  but if you have one we would love to see it :-)

AND there will be candy at every stop along the way.

All you have to do is make a Christmas card/creation and link it with the Linky on the Wild Rose Studio Blog
You have until Monday 17th October 9 am UK time ( 8 am CET ) to join in :-)

So let’s start the hop peeps.

If you arrived here from the sweetness that is Dulcie’s Blog which is The Wild Rose Studio Blog,  then you are in the right place and going in the right direction, but if not, nip back to the Wild Rose Studio Blog to start the hop :)

So what did I do then?

Picture 009c copy

Well I went with a lilac and grey theme and I used this cute lil fella here …..

Picture 013c copy

His name is Pickle (awww) and he is one of the new releases.
I coloured him with Copics in these colours ..

BV0000, BV000, BV00, BV02, BV04, BV13, C00, C1, C3, C5, R11, R20.., Y15. Y35,

Not sure if you can just about make it out but I added a bit of Glossy Accents under his foot to make it look like he was skating on ice :)

Picture 012c copy

The papers I used are from the oh so talented and also very lovely Summer Driggs (this special lady creates these lovely kits and gives them to us all to use completely free – thank you Summer x) .

I used papers from the Dryer Lint At Tiffany's kit.

And guess what else I used again!!

Oh yes, I still cannot help myself and the old  Magnolia leaf and swirl die had made another appearance.
Poor thing is SOOO overworked!!!

And that pretty ribbon is 25mm large check purple ribbon  which I topped off with a sparkly button and both are from The Ribbon Girl

Picture 010c copy

Picture 011c copy

So that’s my card all done.

I had a great time at Port Sunlight on Saturday and hello to the lovely ladies who came to say hi :) Phew it was busy!!!
More about it tomorrow.

Ok now on with the hoppity hop!!

From here you need to hop over to the lovely Sarpreet’s Blog to continue your journey

If you would like a chance to win your very own Pickle Skating  then please make sure you leave a comment on all the DT blogs AND make a card with the Festive Frolics theme, which you will need to link with the linky HERE :-)

Thanks for looking , hope you enjoy the hop and good luck to all :-)

Have the best day and I’ll see you tomorrow and huggiest of hugs to all; xxx

If You Want To Get Ahead ……..

Picture 012c copy

Hi peeps and hope you are all OK :)

I’m a bit late cos my poor camera forgot to tell me that it needed a bit of life breathing into it – I know just how it feels!!.

But here we are now and it’s my first card of the week which is for the one and only Papertake Weekly and we have an

Anything Goes

theme this week with the optional extra is to use buttons but it is only optional and you don't have to use it if you don't want to :)

And of course, as it’s the first one of the month, we are sponsored by those lovely girlies Lisa and Laila over at Lili Of The Valley.

And check out what’s up for grabs peeps ….

GIFT VOUCHER

Woohoooo :)

Picture 007c copy

So this is my card.

I’m keeping the waffle to a minimum today cos I am late over here and poor old Richard is chomping at the bit and hurrying me along as we are nipping up to our local for din dins:)

The cute little Lili Of The Valley girlie is New Hat BUT she isn't a stamp. Well I do have her as a stamp, but this one was part of a freebie pack with this month’s Papercraft  Inspirations mag. If you haven’t got a copy, do nip and bag yourself one chicksies cos this freebie is fabulous!!!

I coloured her with Copics and polychromos pencils and for the life of me cannot find the list. I have definitely not chucked it out though so I’ll keep searching and update when I get me trotters on it.

And you’ll see not one  swirl made with the  Magnolia leaf and swirl die today but 2!!! I got mine from the ever so fabby Simon Says Stamp

Picture 011c copy

This beautimous bow is made from 38mm Grosgrain Stripe ribbon, some Baker's Divine twine and a button from the old stash. The ribbon and twine are both from The Ribbon Girl

Picture 013c copy

The paper is a mixture which I don't normally do – I usually stick to the one brand – but these looked so nice that it was a shame not to put them together. They are Crate Paper Neighborhood 12 x 12 Collection Kit and Wild Rose Studio Gorgeous Ginghams and both are availabe from Tracy at Dies To Die For.

Picture 008c copy      Picture 009c copy

Picture 010c copy

So I’m off for some grub and I’ll leave you with a sneakie peekie of tomorrow’s cardage ….

sketch

And here it is

This week we are sponsored by the lovely Susanne from Embellishments DE with a fabulous prize of a €15,00 voucher to spend in their store.

embellishments-de[3]

So…

Picture 001c copy

… here’s the old card.

I must be in a peachy sort of mood at the mo cos I used it again on here but this time with lilac which is another yummy combi.

I coloured Hello Little Butterfly which you can get from the Simon Says Stamp Store with  these Copics -

E00, E21, R11 (skin), E40, E42, E50 (hair), BV0000, BV00, BV02, E95, YR0000 (clothes etc)

Picture 005c copy

The gorge papers are  from Dies To Die For and they are from the  Wild Rose Studio Gorgeous Ginghams Paper Stacks,  K & Co Sweet Nectar Designer Mat Pad and Magnolia Butterfly Dreams  - Lilac Butterfly.

The good old Tilda Lace Die  and little butterfly punch were used again – well they were still out and it seemed rude not to lol!!!

The digi sentiment was printed onto Safmat – you can just about see the film here but IRL it’s practically invisible.

Picture 006c copy

You can see the butterfly paper here (and more punched butterflies)  and I die cut it with an oval nestie and edged it with  this pretty lace which is of course from Wild Orchid Crafts

Picture 007c copy

… as is the organza ribbon – I did a double bow using peach and lilac and topped it off with yet another butterfly!!!

And of course I finished it all off with some self adhesive pearls :)

Picture 002c copy                Picture 003c copy

Picture 004c copy

So that’s the cardage for the week peeps although if I get a sec I might be back over the weekend with something else. If not I’ll see you on Monday but till then, have the fabbiest week and huggiest of Friday hugs to all xxxx

Whole Lotta Punching Going On!!!!

Picture 007c copy

Yep, all the oldies, me included will be singing that one all day now – sorry chicks!!!

It’s a toe tapper lol.

All together now … ..

I have to say that I am not that old.

No really, I wasn’t even born when he did THAT song but I am old enough that I know it and knew of old Jerry Lee. Now if you young uns want to see what I’m talking about, check out the vid …… and get a load of that hair. I don’t want to think too much about what it is he is shaking, but there is a whole lot of it going on lol :)

Fantastic!!!

And sorry if you cant get it out of your head (ohhh there’s another one, God bless Kylie lol!!)

Anyway, back at the cardie stuff!!

Today over at the Lili Of The Valley Thursday challenge, we want you to

Punch It

(peeps  if you are still singing this 6 hours later, please don't do the same to me at the weekend if you see me at the NEC!!)

Look what you could win if the random bod picks you ….

GIFT VOUCHER[4]

Picture 001ccc copy

So this is what I did.

I did the cheaty McCheat thing again and used …

Picture 008c copy

…a cute square so no Copics today.

I do love these little sausages – they are perfect for all sorts of stuff and they are coloured to perfection :)

So what did I punch?

Picture 006c

Yes, it’s the circles – another cheaty McCheat for making scalloped borders.

The papers are Wild Rose Studio Polka Dots Paper Stacks which you  can get from Tracy over at Dies To Die For and the pretty self adhesive pearls are of course from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Picture 005c copy

And speaking of Wild Orchid Crafts, here’s some beautiful blooms :)

Picture 002c copy

Picture 004c copy

So that’s me all finished for today peeps.

I’m getting everything ready today for the trip to Brum on Saturday.

I’m planning to mooch about and do some catching up and maybe a little bit of shopping and of course I am going to see my lovely Mrs Kath again.  And that’s not all, cos I am finally going to meet my lovely Lols, all the way from sunny Malta :) and there’s quite a few other lovely peeps going to be there as well.

To say I cannot wait is putting it mildly.

Then on Sunday, you can catch me on the LOTV stand so if you are about,  do come and say howdy. I promise you I am not as mad as I sound on here lol (well maybe I am a bit!!)

So I am off to make a start on the packing and I’ll see you bright and early tomoz.

Enjoy your day and huggiest of hugs to all xxx

Sweetest Pixie

sPicture 003 copy

Heyy peeps and happy Sunday.

I hope you are all enjoying this fab weather we are having. We actually caught the sun yesterday.

This week has flown and once again it’s time for another challenge over at Anyone For Anya. Don’t forget that you can now use your Swiss Pixies and any CC Designs that you want as well as your TGF images.

And that’s what I’ve used today cos I do ‘heart’ these lil sweeties so much.

The image I used today is Birgitta On A Tree Stump and she is one of the gorge new images that Tracy now has in stock over at Dies To Die For. You can see her here and also the new Nora On A Swing.

Picture 005 copyI coloured her with my new bad boys ie the good old Copics which I think are just the best (yes, I have well and truly defected!!). My Nikkie had a go with them yesterday but she is still a Pro Marker girl she says, but they might grow on her. These pretty papers are the Wild Rose Studio Paper Stacks – I used the Polka Dots (not that you couldn't tell that lol xx)

You can get these papers from Tracy as well as whichever pens float your boat :)

Picture 003edit

The lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts – I just love how clean and white it looks – and the teeny pearls are from The Hobby House. I used them as a cover up because you could see the DST through the holes, and me no likeee!!!

The buttons and twine are from my stash.

Picture 004 copy

And that’s the old card.

The sharp eyes amongst you might notice that dopey Dawny has struck again if you’ve been over to the challenge blog - I have made a booboo with my watermark thingie. Yes, there is a typo and I have put Dawny Pp. which sounds all kinds of wrong if you say it out loud. I MUST get that sorted very soon!!

Well we had a fabulous day yesterday out on our bikes, even though we must have looked like a right load of saddos all biking along together. We cycled into Wales and then did a loop back to Chester – nearly 14 miles, as a certain part of me can testify lol xxx. And our Kyla was on the back of one of the bikes on one of those tag along things. She loved it, even if she didn't quite manage to pedal all the way. Emma was quite sure she didn't love it but I have my doubts if she meant it.

We stopped off for a quick drink in a pub along the canal and just watched the world go by while we had a little rest. Just wonderful and in a weird sort of way, very relaxing.

So we might venture out again today – just the two of us. We’ll see later on how we feel. It’s the last day of my hols and I must admit that I am not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow – even if I do work from home :(

Never mind – there’s always the lottery!!!!

Have a great day peeps and enjoy your Sunday, whatever you are doing, and see you next week.

Huggiest of hugs xxx

Awww, Cute As A Button :)

ed copy

This li’l fella has to be one of the sweetest ever I think, with his little baldie head and chubby cheeks – awww!!!.

And I’ve been dying to ink him up from the minute he arrived at chez piggy. He is of course one of the new Lily Of The Valley images which are just awesome. Check them all out here peeps if you haven't already seen them.

Anyhoos, sweet baby boy is so cute that I just had to use him for this week’s Cute Card Thursday challenge and this week they’ve gone all

Ribbon-tastic :)

Just up my street I thought lol!!!

Picture 002 copy So this is what I did.

I coloured sweet baby with my PMs – the newer muted colours are just perfect I think for these images. And of course you can get a fine selection of these bad boys from Tracy over at Dies To Die For.

And the gorgeous papers are all from the new Wild Rose Studio paper stacks. I used Candy Floss and Polka Dots and you can see them here.

button

The white organza ribbon and blue button were from my stash and I just tied a bit of twine through the button and gave it a bit of a curl .

Picture 005 copy1

A computer generated sentiment and some flat backed pearls finished it all off, and that was me done.

This is one of those cards that I really REALLY like cos it looks clean and fresh and ticks all the boxes for me. Now if you want to get your hands on a couple of these images, keep watching the pig sty peeps cos I have a feeling that there might be a bit more blog candy on the way………..

Have you seen my ugly mug in the new edition of Quick Cards Made Easy? Poor beggars if you have!!! I don’t have that many pics of me cos a) I’ve broken too many cameras and b) I cannot afford the litigation costs lol xxx That one in there does make me look like a bit of a simpleton (hold that thought perleeeeeeeeze!!). But it was the best of a bad job (yes, really). Shame isn't it!!).

It’s all about the world of blogging and I think it’s a great article and I hope that more people come and join us all in the land of Blog. I was so pleased to be asked to do it so huge thanks to the fab peeps at QCME and one other special girlie in partic who I won’t name but she knows who she is xxxx

And if you’ve read the article and have come for a little nosey and you’re reading this and wondering if you should take the plunge, then I would say GO for it because it’s a great way to share your work and there is so much inspiration to be found by visiting all the different blogs. Have a look round by clicking on the links or any of the names in our sidebars and you’ll see a wealth of styles out there.

And it really isn't that difficult to get your blog up and running. Believe me, if this dozy old thicko can do it, then so can anyone. It is a bit scary the first time you press the ‘publish’ button, but we've all had to do it and you’ll find that crafty blogger are just the best.

Well I’m off for a bit of a tidy up (my rock and roll lifestyle is something else at times!!). Kyla is going to a princess party (awww!!) and Richie Rich is working so I can get through it in no time which will then leave me more time for a bit more crafting later - it’s card club on Monday so I have the packs to prepare.

Have a fab day peeps and see ya tomorrow for another Anyone For Anya challenge. Hugs to all xxx
