A Bit of Sunshine :)

Hello lovelies and hope you are all OK today.

I thought I'd try and bring a bit of sunshine - and God knows we could all do with some at the moment!!

So it's only a card but it's bright and cheery.
I made this using the new Tonic Studios Perfect Petals dies and this one is the Daisy set.

The sweet background is cut from the Luxurious Lace  Designer Choice and I just added a bit of faux stitching

And of course, there has to be a little gingham bow lol.

 So that's it all done.
The dies set will be available from retailers in just under 30 days but you can get it from Create and Craft if you can't wait.

Take care and please stay safe and well.
Lots of love, Dawny xxxx

Pretty Peony :)

Hello lovelies and hope you are all safe and well.

Here's a pretty little peony card which I made using a brand new set of dies from Tonic Studios.

These are the Perfect Petals set and this one is Peony.

Dead easy to put together and they're quite a size - nice and bold to make a statement on your cards and projects.

Which  means you don't have to add a lot else :)

I used plain white copier paper for this - it moulds really well and we've all got some of it somewhere haven't we.

And I just dabbed a bit of glitter over the petals to add a bit of sparkle.

Sometimes I just cannot help myself lol!!

Apols for the fuzzy pic here. I don't know what happened!!

So that's me all done for today.
These dies are available at the mo over at Create and Craft and they'll be on sale via retailers before too long.

Take care and stay safe and well and lots of love to all xx

Gelli-tastic Mixed Media Card With A Bit Of Bloomage

Well you can't keep a good man (or woman) down can you, and as promised, here is another gelli  plate make. This one is quite different and more 'me - ish' in terms of colour.

I used a mixture of mousse, paint and sprays on the gelli plate and to see how I put it together, have a little mooch at my YouTube video.
It's quite a short vid but you'll get the gist of what I did.

Video link

It's very easy - I really don't do complicated mixed media.
That's because I really can't do complicated mixed media 😅

I love the Spider Mum flower and Japanese fern combi - you can use any though if you don't have these.

And I added some Nuvo Pollen onto the middle of the stamen things.

So I hope you like my little trip down gelli plate lane.

I'll list the products I used below along with affiliate links and I'll see you soon with another make.

Until then, please take care of yourselves and stay safe and well xxx

Hello crafty friends and hope you all had a lovely weekend.

Wasn't the weather a treat!!!
Blimey, it was torrential on occasions here.

I'm sharing a card with you today that I made using the Tonic Studios Foliage and Florals Patterned Panels Die.

So all I did was cut this out in white card and then laid it over the top of a background I made using some Nuvo pastes and mousses.

I love this technique - you never know what you're going to get!!   But it's always pretty.

I cut the flower out and layered it up.

For some of the layers, I cut them out and then ran them through the machine with the panel die but I used the embossing plates rather than the cutting plates. I like the effect it gave.

This technique would work with any if your flower dies.
And if you don't have this one, you can use any you do have and it will still look nice.

I finished it off with a sentiment from the Layering Frame Collective Sentiment Stamp Set.

For more ideas on how you can use the panel dies, please check out my YouTube video here

I've added some affiliate links below to some of the products I used here in case you want a mooch.

Apols that some of the links won't change to black :(

Have a fabulous day and week and stay safe and well xx
