Wild Orchid Crafts Hop – Check It Out Peeps xxx

  Picture 006c copy

Hi again chicksies.

I'm back this time with my second card of the day and this is for the Wild Orchid Crafts Blog Hop

If you’ve arrived here from Bev’s blog then you are in the right place. If not, nip back and have a mooch so that you don't miss out.

We are launching today the new  "Classic Colour Range of Roses" are they are  now live on the website (all the fave roses are there in these beautiful new colours)

And there are prizes along the way to be won as well and as it just so happens there is one to be had right here :)

So if you want to be in with a shout for these  which are of course from the Classic  Colour Range – these are Nu Rust – then just leave your name with Good Old Mr Linky at the end of the post and if good old Mr Random Boy chooses you, they will be yours.

And there are other prizes along the way as well as this ….

… grand prize which is at the end of the hop :)

The card I did for the hop is ….

Picture 001c copy

….. this one here.

Miss Attitude hAnglar was coloured with these Copics -

E00, E214, R11, R20 (skin), E40, E42, E43, E50 (hair), E02, E40, E42, W1, W3 (clothes etc)

I used Nitwits Buds ‘n Blossoms papers and I think they match the  Classic  Colour Range perfectly

Picture 007c123 copy

The Wild Orchid Crafts blooms I used here are -

15mm pale peach roses (from the new range), sweetheart blossoms, 10mm open roses and some long stem stamens. Sometimes I think that as the blooms are so pretty, you don't need to use shed loads so they do actually go a long way

 Picture 005c copy

The self adhesive pearls are also from Wild Orchid Crafts

Picture 003c copy

… as is this 25mm peach organza ribbon

OK now back to the hop.

You now need to pop over to Dena’s blog and check out what’s happening there. Don't forget to leave your name with Mr Linky and the blog will run from midday UK time today until till midday Saturday 30th April and we will draw our winners on Saturday night.

Enjoy the rest of your day and see you tomorrow peps. Hugs to all xxx

Part One !!!

 Picture 013c copy

Morning peeps and this is the first of 2 posts today – more in a sec!!

Today over at the Lili Of The Valley Thursday challenge we have gone all soppy – must be something to do with some wedding or other tomorrow – and our theme is

Love Is In The Air

(I do hope that you aren't stuck for the rest of the day with that God-awful song going round your head – sorry Mr JP Young but it makes me cringe a bit – reminds me of drunk people pretending they like each other at weddings and parties!!)

Anyway there is as always a fab prize up for grabs donated by the loveliest of lovelies, Lisa & Laila …

GIFT VOUCHER[4]

and this …

Picture 009c copy

.. is my card.

A really quick and easy peasy one this cos I used a cute square  :)

Picture 014c copy

I used the new Nitwits papers which are from the Promises Collection and the MS PATP punch which I have forgotten the name of (sorry Carol – again lol!!!)

Picture 010c copy

The bow is actually made using 2 different ribbons, both from The Ribbon Girl –  25mm satin in dark purple  and some open weave in lavender. I used one of the huge heart charms and I love that it is so big and funky, I really do :)

Picture 012c copy

Spot old piggy’s face in the reflection – I look like I’m in the hall of mirrors at the fair, ooooops!!!

So that’s me done for now but I will be back shortly with something a bit special so see you in a bit and hugs to all in the meantime xxx

Lil Sweet Pea :)

Picture 006c copy

Morning peeps and hope you are all OK.

Today over at Papertake Weekly it’s the last challenge  of the month so it’s time for a sketch …

sketch #55

… and it’s this one here (and one of my personal  faves!!)

And as it’s the last challenge of the month, we are sponsored by those lovely peeps in the good old US of A, Simon Says Stamp

Photobucket

and there is of course a spending spree up for grabs for one lucky girlie :)

Picture 001c copy

So this is what I did.

I rotated the sketch – and I could not resist using my new hAnglar stamp which arrived at chez Piggy the other day (I know it isn't NEW new, but it’s new to me if you get my drift!!!)  I call her lil sweet pea here cos I used pea green and she is very sweet lol!!!

Anyhoos I coloured her with these Copics – E00, E21, R11, R20 (skin), E40, E50 (hair), R85, RV0000, RV000, RV00, RV10, W00, W1, YG0000, YG01, YG03, YG23 (clothes etc)

And there is a bit of the old blingy stuff scattered about as well :)

Picture 004c copy

I used a little bit of bloomage from the one and only Wild Orchid Crafts - hip rosebuds, 10mm open roses, 6mm closed rosebuds and of course my faves at the mo, the gorge little sweetheart blossoms

Picture 007c copy

The papers are all from Tracy at Dies To Die For and they are Memory Box 8 x 11 (fab colours)

I used Lord Timmy’s Scalloped Die and a few self adhesive rhinestones from WOC

Picture 005c copy

The button and bow are both from The Ribbon Girl – I used pink organza and a medium lime green polka dot button and both are so pretty.

Picture 002c copy

Picture 003c copy

So we are done for another day and I am psyching myself up to clear the junk out of my craft room as my hoarding has gotten out of hand - just a bit. I have decided that the only way to do it is to get everything out and then put it into 3 piles – stuff I am keeping, stuff I will sell and stuff I will chuck. Problem is that the ‘stuff I am keeping’  pile will be bigger than the other 2 put together cos I just cannot be ruthless.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated peeps. How do you organise your rooms and how do you decide what to keep and what not to keep? Heeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllpppp!!!!

So on that note I better go and make a start. I might just go and have me lunch first (procrastination is something I am very VERY good at lol!!)

I’ll leave you with a sneakie peek of what will be here tomoz and all I will say is please don’t miss it cos we have a surprise in store :)

Enjoy your day and hugs to all xxx

No Copics today cos I did the cheaty McCheat thing again and used one of the new Die Cut Design sheetsSpring Rabbits. I just love these cos all the work is done for you :)

The papers are from the Nitwits Egg-stra Special collection

Picture 014c copy

I also used a LOTV Happy Circular Sentiments stamp. The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and I used Pencil Stripe in Meadow Green and added a cute lil sweetheart blossom from the one and only Wild Orchid Crafts

Picture 012c copy    Picture 013c copy

I used a few more sweetheart blossoms and some other  WOC blooms as well -  daffodils,  a 25mm wild rose, some tea rosebuds and some long stem stamens.

Picture 007c copy

Picture 001c copy

here’s what I did.

All of the DT have used Belles and Whistles  images and being the dope I am, I used the same one that I used last week – doh – which is Belle Sitting With Teddy!!

The Copics are back today and I used these colours  -

E00, E21 (skin), E40, E42, E50 (hair), E40, E42, G0000, G00, R85, RV0000, RV00, RV10 (clothes etc)

The papers I used today are from the  Echo Park  Springtime Kit – that minty green colour is so lovely.

Picture 008c copy     Picture 007c copy

I just LOVE these Magnolia Doily Flower dies – I can’t stop using them lol!!!.

I edged them with Copics (G0000 and G00) and added a little pearl and some glitter.

Picture 003c copy     Picture 004c copy

Ooops I nearly forgot – the embossing on here was done using the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder which you can maybe just about see!!

Picture 005c copy

So that’s me done and by the time you are reading this (and hopefully you are), I may very well be weaving my way down the Yellow Brick Road – I may even have arrived at the Emerald City - woohoooo!!!

Have a great day and see you tomoz.

Hugs to all xxx
