Back With Some Bunnies (They're Not Just For Easter :)

Hello lovelies.
Hope you are all OK and suitably 'jabbed' and safe and well.

Well what a week!!

I've been so busy but it was lovely to be back at the Craft Store with some beautiful Lili of the Valley images that I just adore, this time in digi format.

So in case you missed it, I thought I'd share the card I made using the digi image from the Bunnies USB.

The beauty of these digis is that you can re-size so what I did here was to print out one of the Mystical Skies backing papers (you can see them here - https://www.etsy.com/.../lili-of-the-valley-backing-paper...) and then fed that printed paper back through the printer with the leap frog bunnies, which I'd re-sized.

You don't want them too small or it won't look as good.
It creates a brilliant over print and then all you have to do is to colour in using a black pen.

Simples!!
I did all this in Word and I am not the most tech savvy, but it's ever so easy to do.

The sentiment is from the USB stick as well - it's perfect for this image I thought.

There are 20 different images on the stick and you can re-size, flip, mirror them etc etc. Also there's a sheet of easy prints which give you 4 of each image on the sheet, plus loads of sentiments that will work with the images.

So bunnies are not just for Easter.

I coloured these using a black Micron pen but any black pen you have would work.

And it's super quick because there's no detail to add.

It really is one of my faves and not an ink pad in sight lol.
I think this would look nice in a frame - I might well do that!!

I believe that the sticks aren't on the Craft Store website now but if you want to get your mitts on one, you can email Lisa at  lisa@liliofthevalley.co.uk  and she will be able to get one to you.

Well have a lovely day - the weather here is really nice at the moment. I'm back in my shed but I have the doors open to let the fresh air in and I can hear the birds singing as well, which is nice.

Take care and lots of love xxx

The Copics Are Out!!!

Hello lovelies and a very Happy Easter Sunday.

I'm sharing a card today which I coloured using Faith from Lili of The Valley ( you can get here here - LOTV Faith ).

I had a lovely time colouring her in - it's been quite a while really.

And ...

... this is what I made with her.

I coloured her with these Copics -

Skin - E000, E00, E11, E13, R00, R02

Hair - E17, E27, E35, E39, E50, E51, E55

Dress - R85, RVO00, RV00, RV02, RV10,
W00, W01, W02, W03, W05

Star - Y11, Y21, Y28, YR31

Grounding - W00, W01, W02, W03, W05

I must confess that I don't know where the grey paper came from but the pink checked paper is from Tonic Studios Sweet Sorbet 6x6 pad. And the lace border and all the bits and bobs in white are Tonic dies.
They look fab in white I think, against the colour.

Here's some more pics ...

And there she is all done.

Enjoy the rest of the Bank Hol and I'll see you back here very soon xxx

Something New - Well It Is To Me :)

Hello lovelies and Happy Easter to you.
I hope you are all safe and well and having a nice Easter break.

I'm sharing a card today that I made using some stuff that is new to me. It's not to others to be fair but it's my first time using it.

So doing these shows up and down the country, you get to see some awesome stuff but you don't always have the time to play.

But I promised myself a while back that I would get me some Lavinia Stamps goodies and have a go so I did.

And this is my first attempt.

Now I know that it's quite plain and simple and relatively clean,  but that's my style. I cannot escape it!!

And it isn't perfect but hey ho, Rome wasn't built in a day and all that.

The most important thing is that I enjoyed using  the products and making this card.

The stencil is called Crackle and I used Distress Inks to make the background.

I used Broken China and Peeled Paint and just added them randomly. I used my new Tonic Studios Magnetic Platform - it's just the best thing for stencilling.

Then I stamped this beautiful Star Burst stamp over the top.
I'll add links and affiliate links at the end in case you want a mooch.

The image is from Tonic Studios Sweet and Simple Sentiment stamp set and I also added a bit of gold on top of the stamped images using Tonic Studios Frosted Lemon Sparkle Spray - it's a fabulous colour.

I sprayed some onto my mat and then picked it up and added it with a brush.

And that's me done.

It's a bit different from what I usually do, I'll grant you,  but I'm pretty sure I'll be doing this again, and soon!! It's quite addictive lol.

Right, enjoy the rest of this weekend and stay safe and well and I'll be back soon,
Lots of love xxx

Spring Daffs and a Brand New Image

Hello lovelies and hope everybody is OK today.
Not such a warm Spring day today but at least it isn't raining - yayy!!

I'm sharing a card which I made using one of the brand new digi images by my sweet friend, Ruth Hamilton.

I've known Ruth for quite a few years and I can say without hesitation that she is one of the nicest, sincerest and most genuine people I've ever met (she will hate me saying that but it's so true).

She's also rather good at the craft thing as well.

And I'm proud to call her my friend.

So I've used one of her images - this is Daffodils.
It's perfect for this time of year.

I coloured it with Nuvo markers in the following colours -

401 - Lemon Drops
405 - Indian Saffron
391 - Butternut  Squash

409 - Desert Sage
410 - Persian Lime
420 - Wildwood Moss

485 - Feather Grey
507 - Blender

I added a teeny tiny bit of glitter and some highlighting using a Posca Pen.

The sentiment is from Tonic Studios Sweet  & Simple Sentiments stamp set - I really like this set because there seems to be something for every occasion.

I'll add links and my affiliate links at the bottom in case you want a mooch :)

OK so you know I like a button and bow combi!!
And I have a LOT of buttons.

But could I find one in the exact shade I wanted?

No!!!

So I just coloured one with my Nuvo pen and added a few Posca pen dots.

Simple :)

I also like a nice spotty paper and the ones I used here are both from Crafty Devils. They are a really good quality and good value as well - they are 8x8 and you get 48 in a pack (4 sheets each of 12 colours).

Ditto their stripey paper.
They work nicely together because the shades all match which I really like.

So that's my bright and cheery daffodil card and I hope you like it.

I'll be back soon with some more stuff.
I am expecting a couple of things today which I am dying to use.

One is an upgrade to something I sort of already have, and the other bag of goodies ... well let's just say I've waiting far too long to join this particular party!!

All will be revealed once they arrive.
Oh please let it be soon lol.

Take care, stay safe and well and lots of love to all xx

Brand New Crafty Best Friend :)

Hello lovelies and hope you are all OK.

It's been another hectic few weeks where I could  not see my desk for stuff. Plus I had my Covid vaccine and I was a bit under the weather for a couple of days - nothing major, and I'd take that over getting the actual virus any day of the week!!
But we have cleared the decks a bit and calm has been restored!!

So I thought I'd do a bit of a double whammy here.
I've made this using the new colour trend - first one of the year - from Tonic Studios and it's all about soft and pretty pastels.

I'll pop my affiliate links to everything here at the end in case you want to have a mooch.

Also I used a brand new piece of kit which has just been released.

So I do love a bit of stencilling but I have to be honest and say I've never been that successful.

But Tonic have released a brand new piece of kit for your craft room in the shape of this ...

... magnetic platform.

Honestly it's like having a spare pair of hands. The super strong magnets anchor your work down so no more slipping about and you get fabulous results.

I am well impressed with it.

The stencil I used here is called Dreamy Daisy - so pretty. And I used the inks from the colour trend, plus some pretty Nuvo Jewel Drops.

I love how it turned out.

So that's my card and I will be back before too long because I have so much stuff to share.

Till then, take care and stay safe and well xx

Home Sweet Home

Hi lovelies - hope you are all OK.
I'm having a bad run at the mo - food poisoning last week (very yukky!!).

On the mend now though, touch wood.

I'm sharing a cute little house gift box which I made using Tonic Studios Designer Choice #17 - Home Sweet Home. These sets go really fast so if you fancy having a go, I'll pop my affiliate links at the end of the post.

I've also popped a video on my YouTube channel and you can see it here -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCfdNyu207w

Here's some pics - I've left the top unfastened so you can see where the string goes to close ....

All the little elements on here are made using the dies in the set and I think they're super cute.

You could easily turn them into a little church to pop a wedding, Christening or confirmation gift card in.
Or how about a spooky house for Halloween?
Or a beach hut?
Or a dog kennel?

The list is endless.

Right, I'll leave you pondering lol.
Take care and see you soon xx

A New Kit (and it's very pretty )

Hello lovelies - hope you are all OK.

So today I'm sharing a card I made for the launch of a brand new Tonic Studios kit - we are up to kit #42 now.

If you haven't seen these, they are a boxed kit which you can either buy with a monthly subscription or you can buy as a one off.

And each month you get dies, stamps, cardstock and some Nuvo goodies.

They go like hotcakes and are very popular.

So this month it's a Spring theme with a  pretty pink, gold, lemon and yellow colours

And this is one of my cards.

There's a verso edged die that can cut in or out of your card and all I did here is cut it into the white cardstock and trim the ends.

It's a stunning pattern and suitable for loads of occasions.

I added some Nuvo sequins which are also in the kit - you get 2 different coloured sequins in nice bottles :)

This month there's an embellishment pick up tool included in the kit which makes adding these a breeze.

I stamped the sentiment straight onto the yellow cardstock - easy peasy.

Add a bow and a little butterfly cut with one of the dies in the kit and there's a card which did not take very long at all to do.

Hope you like this and if this is something you want a mooch at, my affiliate links are listed below.

Take care and see you soon as soon and stay safe and well xxx
