This is my card for the PTW challenge this week based on Katharina's lovely sketch. I've also sort of cheated cos I combined this challenge with this weeks CCT challenge which is 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' - how fabitastic lol xx. I have been quite predictable here and used my usual suspects ie pink, glitter and ribbon - well, it would be a shame not to!!!. I also used my cuttlebug hearts folder and the stripey paper is my own. The ribbons are from the wonderful Mich @ Poppicrafts

This is the new download from Pink Petticoat - it's called You're Grreat. It is, and I love it!!! The paper is PP - mini dots with a bit of Dawny doodling and I found the brads in my stash - I think they are Making Memories but I am not 100% as I have had them for soooo long. There is a bit of gold Glamour Dust on his crown and I think he looks a proper cool cat.
Same download but with leopardy paper from PP Sweet Cupcakes. I bought the little pearly stick ons today from Creative Pastimes and I am sooo going to go and get some more cos they are just gorgeous. Check out his pearly crown lol xx I almost didn't get the Glamour Dust out but........... well, you know how it is. Old habits die hard as they say!! I coudn't resist, so he has a twinkly nose. The ribbons are from my stash

Don't faint folks but I managed to find my way back to my craft room yesterday - I almost needed a map lol xx!!! It was a toss up between doing a bit of gardening and making some cards!! Guess which one won???? So here are a few I made. As always please excuse the dreadful photography lol xx

This is the new download from Pink Petticoat - and it is just purrrfect xx I was also having a blog hop and came across a tutorial from Lythan at DCM (thank you Lythan xx). You can check it out here. It really is fabbidoodle and I found it so inspiring that I just had to have a go - I will definately be doing the doodle again lol xx The letters are from PP Big Bloomers and the paper is also PP. There is a bit of bling and of course a bit of Glamour Dust and ribbon - some from the wonderful Mich @ Poppicrafts (check out her new shop cos it is just full of the most gorgoeus stuff. This is a cheeky card I did for Jan for a forthcoming workshop and she loved it - I thought I would share it with you. It's just a little easy peasy pop up and I have used a couple of Sissix die cuts, some PP paper, gold peel offs (well they do come in useful at times!!) and for the edge of the pelmet and feet on the bath I used gold Glamour Dust which I got from Creative Pastimes.

This last one was inspired by Mich's tutorial which you can check out here. It is a wonderful way to use ribbon and her instructions are so easy to follow. The paper as always is PP and the blooms are Poppicrafts. The lace and ribbon is from Hobbycraft (I think lol xx) The front bit opens to show the greeting - I just thought it was a bit different. Thanks for sharing xx

I have been awol from the blog for a while due to work commitments - I work in the Finance industry and this time of year is completely mad for us. Anyway, that is it for another year so normal service will be resumed shortly. Problem is that once you put your bits and pieces away, it seems really hard to get them out again (or is that just me lol xx). I am off for a quick blog hop now to see what I have been missing. Hi folks. These 2 are a bit different colour-wise to what I usually do - I've gone a bit brighter!!!
Here is my card for the PTW challenge - Making Waves "the challenge is to use scallops or zigzags (or both if you are really keen). Well I must be keen cos I have used both- the scallops for the frame and the zig zags for the fake stitching. I got the lovely Dottie download from Charmed Cards and Crafts - http://www.charmedcardsandcrafts.co.uk/ - I just love them. I coloured the picture in with Dovecraft Brush Markers and the paper for the 'frame' is my own which I did on the computer. The ribbons are from the fabulous Poppicrafts and as always there is a bit of Glamour Dust here and there lol xx

Same Dotty download here. PP dots and Mad About Cards checked papers and the buttons and scrap of ribbons I found in my stash - no idea where they came from - sorry!! I used watercolour pencils on these so they look a bit 'softer'. Thanks for looking xx

Hope everyone is well peeps. Had a real cardy day today and even did the PTW challenge IN TIME and did my first cute card Thursday challenge at the same time (same card for both lol xx) !!!! Hope you enjoy this little lot xx


Woodware Wedding set stamped onto vellum and a touch of Glamour Dust. Nestabiltes to mat and layer using silver and pearlised card and the die cut hearts are from the Cuttlebug heart set for kids!! I love those funky shapes - far too good for kids if you ask me lol xx White organza ribbon is from my stash. I hope the lady I did these for likes them.






This is my card for our card club challenge next week (Saughall ladies, if you are looking, skip this bit lol xx). Our challenge this month was inspired by Michelle @ Poppicraft's challenge a few weeks back but with a twist - this was 4-3-2-1 so 4 brads, 3 blooms, 2 pieces of ribbon and 1 square. Other than that, you could use whatever you want -haaaaa!!! Brads, ribbons and blooms are from the wonderful Poppicrafts and the paper is Pink Petticoat. The square is Nestabilites with a bit of lilac glitter. I can't help myself with the glitter folks - I LOVE the stuff. You should see our cat sometimes cos she sits by me and gets covered with the stuff - fabby tabby she is lol xx



OK this is not my usual style but I was cutting out some small white flowers with my Cricut for one of the cards for card club and I was about the throw the negative bit away when I thought how nice it was - almost like lace. It inspired me to do this. The paper is Pink Petticoat, the lace is from Hobbycraft (I think!!) with a bit of black narrow ribbon tied with it, the brads are actually giant brass paper fasteners from Staples and the black dots in between the cut out flower shapes are peel offs.





Ahh I saved my fave till last. This is my card for the PTW challenge. The stamp is Maggie Dressing Up from Funky Kits - I love that stamp. And have you noticed how much better my stamping is getting, cos it was pretty awful not that long ago!! This is thanks to my absolutely lovely friend who I won't name but she will know who she is - she has helped me loads so thank you chicken - love ya loads and you are a star xxxxx The papers are Pink Petticoat with a bit of Dawny doodles ie the fake stitching. I added a bit of Glamour Dust (yes again, I know, can't help it lolxx) and pink liquid pearls for her necklace which I got from Creative Pastimes in Ellesmere Port. The ribbon is from my stash.
