Hi there peeps and hope you are all okay today.
It's Friday today which means the weekend is nearly here – woohooo!!
The card I’m sharing today is actually the card which should have been on here yesterday, but I didn't get back from Newcastle until late on Wednesday night and I was absolutely shattered yesterday because it was a busy few days.
But we are here now and over at the Lili’s Little Fairies Challenge, we have the most popular theme this week because ….
Anything Goes
….. and
… this is what I did (we are back on the brights again it seems, although this isn't too harsh on the old retinas!!!).
The image is one of the older Lili of The Valley images and she is of course Dandelion Clock.
I coloured her with these Copics -
Skin – E000, E00, E11, E21, R00, R20
Hair – E43, E50, E51, E81
The rest – B0000, B000, B00, B05, B12, E81, YR0000, YR00, YR04, YR07, YR16
The papers are from the new FQB The Bees Knees collection from the fabulous Nitwits
The bow was made from 15mm Orange No 42 Microdot Ribbon which is available of course from The Ribbon Girl.
And this array of bloomage is of course from Wild Orchid Crafts
I really am loving these new LOTV sentiment tags, and so will you be when you see them.
Not long now :)
So that’s the old card done for today.
I'm really looking forward to this weekend and hope that lots of you manage to get up (or down) to Leeds - it promises to be a wonderful and crafty weekend.
Right, now for this week's blast from the past and I’m being a bit sentimental here. A year ago this week, my Uncle died suddenly. I cannot quite believe a year has gone by as it only seems like last week when it happened (I must be getting old!!). But this was the song we played at his funeral because he loved it and so many lots of people came up to my aunty after and asked her what it was. It’s such a beautiful song and her voice is just amazing - I defy anyone not to be moved a little bit when listening to it. So I’ll say goodbye and leave you with Enya and see you back here soon as soon.
Have a great weekend and huggiest of hugs to all and especially to you Miss Marcea xxx.
This one is for you Uncle Ed xxx

Hello Dawn I came across your blog after visiting Annie's blog A stitch in time. She was knitting for the Fish and Chip babies and directed anyone who wanted to do the same to your blog. I have been knitting along with my Knitting group some jumpers and beanie hats. However I am unable to get your email address via your link. Think problem is mine. MyDS needs to make some adjustment - I don't know how. My email is annejwilliamsathotmail.com (need to put symbol for at in) Could you please let me have your addy so I can send completed jumpers and hats.
Love your work as well and will contine to follow you. Many thanks Anne x
Just called by, hope you are Ok Dawny, as you seem to have been MIA for a little while. Hope you are OK.
