It Takes 3 :)

Picture 002 copy

Hi peeps and hope you are all OK.

Before I do anything I must tell you who won my PTW blog hop candy -

Doc1

Yes Chris Olsen , tis you chick – well done to you and if you send me a quick email I’ll arrange to get your prize off to you. Now before you all think I am completely doo lally pippers, (and yes I can be dippy I admit that), Chris is actually number 102 on the PTW blog and the number on here is 189.

Well here is how it worked.

If you left me a comment (I had 87 links and thank you to everyone who did xxx), you had your numbers for my blog. Then I added the links from the Papertake Weekly blog.  So #1 on Papertake Weekly blog, was actually #88 for the drawing . So if you linked your card on both blogs, you actually got two chances at the prize cos you had 2 numbers. The winners are listed over at Papertake Weekly, so be sure to check it out!

This is how some of us did this but other DT girlies  handled their prizes in their own special way.

So we are all but back to normal now and over at Papertake Weekly our challenge this week is

3 Of a Kind

so we are still with the ‘3’ theme and all you have to do is use 3 of something on your card.

This is what I did.

I used 3 Pink Petticoat papers (Gingham, Lots Of Dots and a pretty pink solid), 3 colours ie pink, silver and white  and 3 x3 sets of blooms. The base card was just made our of a circle folded in half and then I stuck lots of smaller circles round the edges to make the scalloped edge.

I coloured my new sweet Tilda (yes, they arrived – woohooo) using Copics and added a little bit of sparkle.

Oooh ‘scuse the grainy pic peeps :(

I used one of my Nestabilities ( Beaded Circles) and also a Large Classic Inverted Scalloped Circle Nestie and both are available from Tracy at Dies To Die For.

AND what’s more, the inverted scalloped nesties are on offer at the mo :)

blooms

The gorgeous blooms are of course all from Wild Orchid Crafts :)

Ohh these shaped cards cause me a  right headache trying to photograph them cos I cannot get the angles right.

Right I’m off for a spot of lunch before the next onslaught of paper hits my poor old desk. have the fabbiest of days peeps and see you soon if not sooner with a bit more cardage.

Huggiest of hugs to all xxx
