Hi there chickadees and hope everyone is well, unlike me who has started with a cold (or man flu as it’s sometimes known!!). It’s a good job that you can't hear me as I'm typing cos it isn't pleasant, so I guess that I really am as sick as a (pink) pig. Where on earth did that saying come from, does anybody know?.
Anyhoos, it’s time for another challenge over at Lili Of The Valley and this week it’s a fab challenge cos it’s
Here Comes Summer
so if you get a sec, nip over and check it all out – there’s 2 Busy bears stamps of your choice up for grabs, and you don't even have to use a LOTV image either :)
I used this gorgeous lil busy bear which is called Window Box and you can see it here. I coloured her with my Copics (list of colours at the end) which I got from Tracy at Dies To Die For. The papers are a mixture of Wild Rose Studio Polka Dots which you can also get from Tracy, and Pink Petticoat gingham
I'm not sure if you can tell from the pics but I cut a semi circle out of the gingham panel and then raised it over the image. I then glued all the beautiful Wild Orchid Crafts blooms around, and finished off with a few pearls from The Hobby House. With hindsight, I should have used all white pearls as the pink sort of gets lost against the green, but there ya go :(
Copics used were BG01, BG3, C00, C1, C5, E0000 E00, E21, E31, E35, E37 E50, E53, R20, R32, YG23,
Well me and my cold are going to buzz off now.
I’ll have a little bet with you that it won’t be long before his Lordship develops one but his will be far worse than mine. In fact, it will be so bad that he will be forced to lie on the couch with a blanket over him looking like Penny the dying pig (it’s an expression from round this way and no pigs were harmed during the process!!).
Have a great day and I’ll see you tomorrow lovely peeps.
Snotty hugs (ohhh how utterly revolting!!) xxxx
