Hi peeps – I am practically stalking blog land now – nowt for a month then 2 posts in 2days lol!!!
I just cant keep away can I :)
And thank you so much for your lovely comments peeps – aww you are all so lovely xxxx
OK well I guess that the post title is a bit confusing so I best explain.
Since I went AWOL, I forgot that over at the Just Magnolia challenge you can now use your hAnglar & sTanglar images. Not to worry cos I got my new Magnolia kit before Christmas but was too unwell to use it, so I thought I’d show it some ink for my card today. So I forgot the H&S …..
BUT
I did remember to write down the Copics and then not chuck it in the bin – shock horror woohoooo!!!
So as it’s the first challenge of the month (indeed the year), we have our Anything Goes theme with the option of using buttons.
So here’s what I did.
I have to say that I do love this image – she looks like she is jumping for joy I think (she’s probably in shock that I remembered not to chuck the list away lol!!!)
So the Copics I used here are -
Skin: E00, E21, R11, R20
Hair: E42, E50
Clothes etc: BV0000, BV00, BV02, C00, C1, C3, C5
And I just had to use a selection of my beloved Pink Petticoat papers. I used Stripes, Pretty Little Hearts and Gingham in one of my fave colours, Lovely. I know I’ve said it before but it really is very very lovely indeed (I LOVE soft, chalky pastel shades – you might have noticed!!). The sentiment is also PP – it’s one of the sentiment ribbons.
The good old MS PATP eyelet lace punch, which you can get from Tracy at Dies To Die For, was put to good use as well. I just wish I hadn’t stuck it down flat – I think it maybe should have been raised a little.
I used another of me new prezzies on here. Kath, stay calm cos I am going to mention a certain someone's name and I know how it sends you (only 48 more sleeps!!!). The cute scalloped edge on the corner pocket thing is a fab and funky Lord Timmy of Holtz’ Sissix On The Edge Die ….
… this one here, which is Scallops.
It’s actually 2 edges and I have to say that they really do cut nicely. I’m sure you will see it on here again, being the creature of habit that I am :)
And speaking of which, here’s a nice selection of blooms from the one and only Wild Orchid Crafts.
The self adhesive rhinestones are also from WOC.
So that’s my card du jour peeps.
Have a fab day, indeed a fab weekend. Back to work on Monday (booo hisss) but actually we are off up to Newcastle on a course for a couple of days so it’s a nice start back I suppose – even though I will miss Kyla’s birthday (cry cry). I say we are going but you never know because this is the third time we’ve tried to go. We had to cancel the last 2 trips because of the snow.
And guess what’s on it’s way again?
So we’ll see!!
Huggiest of hugs to all xxx
