I’m STILL Drooling!!!

Picture 006 copy

Hi chicksters and hope that you are all OK xxx

Its Friday – wooohooo -  and time for another challenge with the Just Magnolia girls and this week we have another wonderful challenge for you. It’s all about vintage and as always, the DT have come up trumps with some gorgeous work to share.

I must say that I changed my card because something arrived at chez piggy which I just HAD to use. Well actually it was 2 things – more in a sec.

Picture 005 copy Now those of you who know me, know that I aint good at this vintage malarkey but I’m quite pleased with how this turned out and I even did a bit of distressing along the way which is nowt short of a miracle for me.

I coloured Tilda with Copics in the following colours -

E00, E20, E21, E35, E42, E50,  RV0000, RV02, RV10, YG000, YG03, YR00

I sprinkled Glamour Dust liberally around the place and as you can see from the pic, forgot to brush it off properly so she has a very glittery arm – doh!!!

lace

This is the reason for the change of plan and also the drooling - check out this guipure  lace. I cannot tell you how gorgeous it is. It arrived in my WOC DT kit and I just HAD to use it. It’s 8.5cm wide, it’s pure white and it’s a  brand new item at Wild Orchid Crafts.

I LOVE it.

The other thing that arrived was my new MS punch around the page bad boy from Tracy at Dies To Die For (you can check them out right  here :) so of course, I had to try it out and I even inked the edges a bit.

This for me is practically living on the edge lol !!!

shoes

Do you like her patent leather shoes?

They are courtesy of a good dollop of Glossy Accents. You can hopefully see the papers I used  as well, which are the new GCD Studios Rose Coloured Glasses. They’re so pink and pretty and you can get them from Tracy at Dies To Die For – here’s where they are peeps - and I distressed them as well!!!

bloom

The blooms are of course Wild Orchid Crafts and I used one of the new 40mm tea roses and also a couple of deep ivory aster daisies. I’m not sure if you can see it properly but I folded over a short length of pink organza ribbon and stuck the blooms over it.

And there we are.

So another week has gone. I cannot believe that this time last week we were just back from Spain. Emma's partner’s mum who lives there has come back to the UK for a few weeks and has brought Kyla a Spanish outfit to dress up in, along with some pink spotty shoes which she saw out there and fell in love with. If I can get a pic of her I’ll share it with you because it is a sight to behold!!!!!!!!

She wanted us to buy the shoes  for her but they are truly hideous so we didn’t get them and we used the excuse that they were too big for her.  But Tim’s mum is clearly kinder than we are and she went back and got them for her. Kyla was beside herself when she saw them and said ‘ohh I dreamed about these shoes’.

Ohh bless!!!

So I am off to do some work now but have a fabulous weekend and huggiest of hugs to all xxx
