The Weather Outside Is Frightful, But The Fire Is Sooooo Delighful lol xxx

Ohh I just 'heart' this image xxx
Over at Papertake Weekly it's time for another challenge and this week it's
Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow
The background was made using Cuttlebug snowflake die cuts which were given a generous dusting of Glamour Dust and stuck randomly onto a piece of card. Tilda was a RAK (thank you sooo much to the lovely girlie who did it for me xxx) and I coloured her with??? Yes you are right, although I am not sure how you knew it was PMs. The chunky snow is Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels (Ice Crystals) which I just love. Ric-rac and lace were both from Hobbycraft (or Hobbycrap as my girls call it - probably told you that one already but it does make me larff a bit). The sentiment was part of a Snag'em Stamps snowman stamp, but I just inked the words. So get the glitter out girls and pop over and check it out :))

So why is the fire so delightful????

Well, tonight, we lit our kitchen stove for the first time this year and oh how nice to sit in front of it after our dinner, watching the logs burning (love that smell!!) with a wee glass of mulled wine, complete with a stick of cinnamon. I could almost hear Bing crooning in the background - ba ba ba boom lol xxx When I've decorated it, ready for when the fat lad in the red suit comes a-calling, I'll take a pic and show you. It's not posh or anything, it's just cosy!!! Sitting there gazing at the flames almost made us forget that our bathroom tap has broken and we have just been told that it will cost about £200 to replace!!

Almost, but not quite!!!!!

Just as well I was very good on Friday then - grrrr!!!

Right I am off to finish me 'vin chaud' as they say in France (or vin warm as it is now lol xx) See you tomorrow maybe, if I can tear myself away from the fire to do a card or 2.

Hugs xxxx

What A Strumpet xx

She's a strumpet but she is still cute, despite the very poor lighting and absolutely dreadful photo lolxx Sorry peeps - I hope you can see it ok!!!

I've had this stamp for years and I love it - it just makes me laugh. I was stamping some images for 2 of my fave bloglies - you know who you are girlies - and I dug this one out cos I thought they might like it. And I thought I would use it for this week's CCT challenge #29, which is Lots of Sparkle Yoy can't see very well from the photo but there are some little red blingie jewels on there, and she has the most fabulous sparkly undies which match her shoes and belt.
So there ya go.

His Lordship has returned - Allelujah, I don't have to feed those ruddy birds again - and so I'm off to see if he wants any dinner after his horrendous journey back.

The stamp btw is Stamps Happen Inc - Dolly Mammas (coloured with PMs, as is my way now), and the ribbon was from Hobbycraft. All bling from Creative Pastimes and the uber sparkly fab glittery stuff is Glamour Dust. Oh I am a creature of habit lol xxx

Don't faint folks but I managed to find my way back to my craft room yesterday - I almost needed a map lol xx!!! It was a toss up between doing a bit of gardening and making some cards!! Guess which one won???? So here are a few I made. As always please excuse the dreadful photography lol xx
This is the new download from Pink Petticoat - and it is just purrrfect xx I was also having a blog hop and came across a tutorial from Lythan at DCM (thank you Lythan xx). You can check it out here. It really is fabbidoodle and I found it so inspiring that I just had to have a go - I will definately be doing the doodle again lol xx The letters are from PP Big Bloomers and the paper is also PP. There is a bit of bling and of course a bit of Glamour Dust and ribbon - some from the wonderful Mich @ Poppicrafts (check out her new shop cos it is just full of the most gorgoeus stuff. This is one of my cards for PTW challenge - All That Glitters

Again this is the new PP download, PP Papers and a bit of ribbon I found at the bottom of my bag, This is another of my cards for PTW challenge.

This is a cheeky card I did for Jan for a forthcoming workshop and she loved it - I thought I would share it with you. It's just a little easy peasy pop up and I have used a couple of Sissix die cuts, some PP paper, gold peel offs (well they do come in useful at times!!) and for the edge of the pelmet and feet on the bath I used gold Glamour Dust which I got from Creative Pastimes.

This last one was inspired by Mich's tutorial which you can check out here. It is a wonderful way to use ribbon and her instructions are so easy to follow. The paper as always is PP and the blooms are Poppicrafts. The lace and ribbon is from Hobbycraft (I think lol xx) The front bit opens to show the greeting - I just thought it was a bit different. Thanks for sharing xx
