Old Style Perhaps?????

Picture 005c copy

Morning chicskies – or maybe that should be duckies today!!!

Happy Pancake Day :)

The question is, which do you prefer ….

Well being a right little greedie, I personally would have both, snort snort cos I love em!!!!

I have the tribe coming round later and we always have the syrup v lemon and sugar debate. Emma is a maple syrup girl, Richard prefers lemon and sugar and poor Nikkie is working so she will miss out (I’ll have hers lol!!)

But before all that face stuffing and smoky kitchen malarkey, it’s time to head on over to Papertake Weekly cos there is lots of lemon zinginess over there today.

It occurred to me when I looked at the finished card that this is pretty much my old style -  it’s a quite plain no frills clean looking dude!!

Which I kind of like really.

I could not resist this little cutie and he is  High Hopes Rainy Day Ducky. He isn't on the website as yet but he is available from Tracy over at Dies To Die For

The Copics I used and which IRL do look blended (what happened to the pic????) are -

Y00, Y02, Y03, Y08, Y15, Y17, YG00, YG01, YG23

OMG this paper is just the dogs whattsits!!!!

It’s the new Memory Box 8 x 11 which is available from  Dies To Die For.  I used Key Lime Gingham,, Distressed Dots and Dots and again they are not yet on the website but are available :)

I used a couple of BIG buttons and also some pretty little Wild Orchid Crafts self adhesive pearls

There’s dimension coming out of it’s ears!!!

So that’s me done for today me darlins xxx

Before I go,  I have to warn those of you who use C Box that this seems to be the latest thing that the good old spammers have decided to muck about with, bless em.

I keep getting somebody on there who leaves a comment with a link to some website or other – I haven't been and I aint going but it’s probably one of those where you can get yourself a bigger penis or something !!!  It may or may not be connected but somebody hacked into my hotmail account as well and sent weirdie emails to a lot of my contacts (I am so sorry xxx).

So be careful chicskies.

Righty I’ll leave you with a sneakie peek ……

It’s very VERY different for me!!

Have a great day, enjoy your pancakes. Eat loads, go on, it’s only once a year!!

Huggiest of hugs to all and see you tomoz with either indigestion or toothache (or both!!)  xxx

Hold That Thought!!!!!!

No. it isn't me jumping out of a box lol xxx
Although come to think if it, there is a resemblance :(

No, this is the image I decided to use for this week's Papertake Weekly.

She / he (ooohh I wasn't going to look too closely!!) is the High Hopes Party Hippo and I think this image is just awesome!! You could use it for male or female cards I think and this is one image I will use again.

I used the good old bad boys - no bling or punches though (shock horror!!) and I quite like the result :)

You can get the image and a mahoosive range of PMs from the wonderful Tracy over at Dies To Die For.

So our challenge this week is a sketch .....

... this one.
Not like me to use round elements but a change is a good as a rest!!

And this is the old cardio.

I used my very fave ribbon which I got from my wonderful pal in the jolly old US of A xxxx
I don't think I will never ever tire of using it or looking at it :)

The papers are a mixture of Pink Petticoat's FAB Fairy Dots and Funky Fairy Gingham. The sentiment which you can just about see is one I use quite a bit, but I don't know where it came from!!!

And an arty farty angle to finish.

Just a quick post today peeps cos I am literally up to me bits in it here with work and other stuff. But I just had to share this with you.

Kyla came into our bedroom the other morning and spied a pair of shoes I'd worn the night before but hadn't yet put away (tut tut!!). Well the child is totally obsessed with shoes so off came her slippers and on went my shoes. She calls them clippy cloppies and off she went to the bathroom in them cos there is a stone floor in there and they make loads of noise (**%$**&!!)

She eventually came back to our room and said 'Grandma, I really love these clippy cloppies'. 'That's good', I tell her, 'so do I'. She then says 'Grandma, when you die, can I have these shoes please? So I had a little snigger then said very solemnly that she could. There was a little pause and then she said 'Grandma, when are you going to die?'

Waaaaahhhh, we roared laughing!!!
You couldn't make then up could you. There is never a dull moment with her!!!

So on that note, I'll love you and leave you. Have a great day and see you soon and if you get a sec, don't forget to check out the challenge - there's a fab prize up for grabs plus some awesome cardage to share.

Hugs to all xxx

Spring, Bling And Papertake Weekly xxx

Yes, it's all here peeps :)

Please excuse the dreadful editing on this pic - what has happened to her hair, I do not know!! But in all fairness, she looks like a bit of Pantene Pro V wouldn't go amiss!! IRL, it isn't like that so I might re-do this pic if I get a sec.

And there's more slap dash-ness further on as well - dohhhhh!!

But first, it's time for another Papertake Weekly, and this week our theme is Four Seasons.

All you have to do is use colours or things that remind you of a season. I chose fresh pastel colours which remind me of Spring. And I used a High Hopes stamp - and I think this is the first time I've ever used one!!! They are fab and I really enjoyed using this image. The stamps are available over at Dies To Die For :)

So here's the old card. Colured with PMs (natch) and there is tons of Glamour Dust here. Do you like her sparkly toenails? You can maybe see them better on the Pantene pic lol xxxx

The flowers were done with the nesties again and the buttons were from my stash. There's only one paper today (Mad About Cards) as I wanted to keep it reasonably plain to focus more on the image.

So that's it.

And here is yet another classic by the dimwit that is moi!!!

Yes, there is another strip of red backing tape in evidence which I didn't notice until AFTER I edited it and put it on here. If I re-do the pic, then I'll have to re-do the post so here it is and I guess that it will stay to remind everyone that where I am concerned, you can take the blonde out of the hair, but not out of the girl (natural blonde gone grey and now brown courtesy of Mr L'Oreal!!)

It's a short post tonight cos I've been on a jewellery course today (I can now wrap a loop like a pro) but I think I'm tired though cos it took me forever to get the Papertake Weekly post done. I downloaded all the pics, did the post then realised that all the pics were small!! So I had to re-do it. So it has been a day of total numpy-ness all round really (apart from the wrapped loops, which were quite good in the end!!)

So on that note I'm off for a lie down in a dark room and I hope that what brain cells I have left will be refreshed and I will be better tomorrow.

Have a fab night and see ya soon xxxx
