Just To Share & Also A Warning For You Peeps xxxx

So no challenge for this little sweetie bear, but I just had to share - it's a share bear lol xxx. I made it for a friend's baby for her first Christmas.

The image is just gorge and it is Christmas Teddy, of the fabbytastic Janet's over at Pink Gem.

What I loved about it - apart from the cutie-pie factor which it has shed loads of - is that you could use this for a girl or a boy and for young and old alike.

So this is what I did with it.

Verrrrry different for me cos there is no 6x6 base card !!!
This base was cut on the Cricut using the Wild Card cartridge. I coloured lil Ted with PMs and blinged her up a treat with some Glamour Dust.

Now that is not at all different for me cos I do it all the time lol xxxx

The paper is from Mad About Cards and the die cut shape is a nestie which I drowned in the blingy stuff!!!

nd check out those flat backed jewels - they are Svarowski crystals and I got them ages ago from Craftwork Cards.

Very posh or what :)))x

Bit tricky to get a shot to show the dimension but you can see it here just about.
So that's me card and it's one more ticked off the list!!!

Now I did say that I had a warning for you lovely peeps.

I have had a few probs leaving comments this week. What is happening is that as I go onto the blogs, my browser goes completely mad and starts opening lots of blank pages. It takes me ages to close them all down as they just keep on opening by themselves - very weird.

Now as you know, I am not at all techncial but I do think that this is due to some sort of digi nasty out there (sharp aren't I lol xxx)!! Has anybody else had this and if so, what is the best way tho get rid of it please peeps? I've run my anti spyware etc and fingers crossed, it seems to sort it, but I don't want to be doing this every five minutes. So any help would be greatly appreciated xxx.

On that note, I am off to do some work and then I have to go to sunny Birkenhead. Have a fab day and I hope it's stopped raining where you are!!

I'll see you tomorrow cos it's Tilda-tastic Just Magnolia day - woohoooo!!! Huggiest of hugs xxxx

Manga Sweetie For Papertake Weekly :)

This is Kaya and she's one of the new Manga designs which are available over at Pink Gem Designs. I thinks she is ever so sweet.

So I coloured her with the old bad boy PMs, added a teeny touch of blingy stuff and used her for this week's Papertake Weekly challenge, which is a sketch - this one here

Yes, it is a bit different from my usual straight lines and neat angles.
But I kind of like it to be honest.

So this is my card. I know Manga colours are usually a bit more vibrant but I just had to use pink cos she is sooo pretty.

And after my last couple of cards, I was going into serious pastel withdrawal :))))o

Here's the recycled ribbon again. I am seriously going to have to get some more of this - poor thing doesn't know if it's coming or going xxxx

I know just how it feels lol xxxx

The silver mesh is from a local warehouse and the button is another stash dweller lol xxx

The papers are both Pink Petticoat - Stripes and Fairy Lights. I LOVE this new collection, I really do!!! And the old MSBP is back in favour!!!

And that's my card.

I'm on another flyer today cos I still have oodels of stuff to do - I cannot see the wood for the trees right now so I may be AWOL for a few days unless I can get my lardy butt into gear and get it all done.

But before I go, I mentioned a few posts ago that I'd made a bracelet for someone and I might take a pic and share it. So I did and here is is ...

What do you think peeps.
I hope she'll like it.
I'm seeing her tomorrow so fingers crossed.

I am still trying to sort out my bling bit on here cos I have quite a few pieces made now that need a good home but in the meantime, if anyone is interested in any, please feel free to e-mail me.

On that note, I'll say tatty bye and see you soon if not sooner.

Don't forget to pop over to PTW and see what the other fabster DT girlies have done. Awesome work as always - they are a talented bunch, they really are.

Hugs xxx

Papertake Spookly :)

Yes we've gone all 'spooky-doos' over at Papertake Weekly and we're inviting you to join us over at

The Dark Side

And as I said yesterday, we have someone verrry famous as our special guest and it is non other than Joanna Sheen!!!!
(yes Vic, you were so wrong, my lovely lol xxx.

Joanna has made a card for us, we have 2 brand new GDT peeps AND there's lots and lots of fabulous cardage to feast yer eyes on. So nip over and check it all out if you get a sec xxxx

I thought this fabulous image of Milly on her broomstick from the very wonderful Janet at Pink Gem was perfect!!!

The original image has little stars round it - you can see it here - but I cut her out cos I wanted it to look like she was flying.

Just a note to say that Pink Gem will be closing from 16th to 25th October so if you want any goodies, best get them now lovely peeps xxx

Naturally, I used PMs and lots of blingy Glamour Dust. And as Milly is a very special witch, I gave her a glittery frock.

I think she looks fabulous!!!!

I cut the bat our using the Cricut - shock horror, it has been used twice in as many weeks - and I stuck it on a piece of acetate so it sort of floated over the card. I wanted to make it look like it was flying round Milly.

I have to say that IRL you can hardly see the acetate but of course, awesome Annie here with her marvellous editing skills has made it really stand out.

The papers and sentiment are all from Pink Petticoat's Happy Hauntings collection. I am loving this collection - the papers and colours are stunning.

And BTW, have you seen the new PP Fairy Lights collection? Check it out here - it is just awesome, AND it is on offer :)))x

So there's the old card.

As Halloween is approaching and we will no doubt be inundated with all sorts of little horrors asking us if we want a trick or a treat, I wanted to make something to put the 'treats' in.

And then I remembered this tutuorial over at Liz's blog.

It's a little sour cream container.

They are just perfect I think. They are soooo easy peasy, they only take about 1 minute to make and you get 4 from a single piece of A4 card. You could really go to town decorating them but I've left this quite plain so you can see it better. I'm sure you all saw them when Liz first blogged them but I thought I'd put it on here anyway. I am going to make loads for Kyla to take to her nursery Halloween party to give to her little pals.

So that's me done for the day.

But before I go, I have to say the biggest CONGRATS to my lovely blog bud Marcea. She's only gone and got picked for Magnolia's Design Team - wooohoooooooo. You can read about it here. I have had the pleasure of meeting this sweet girlie and this could not have happened to a nicer person. I am THRILLED for ya sweet cheeks (I am also dead jealous as well lol xxx) but well done you xxxxx

Have the fabbiest of days and hugs to all xxx

Lotsa Pics & A Trio Of Challenges :)

I realised that I haven't done too many challenges for a couple of weeks cos time has run away with me. So today I managed to find a couple of crafty hours and I've done a couple of cards.

The first card is for 2 challenges - Just Magnolia which is a colour combi challenge, namely pink, grey and optional black. Well say no more, cos they are just my kind of colours :)

I combined this with the really lovely sketch by Heather over at Truly Scrumptious ....

... and this is what I did.

Tilda was coloured with the old PMs - they've had a little rest and now it's back to work for them!!! And there's a bit of Glamour Dust sprinkled about as well. I used Classic Circle Nestabiliities for the image base.

You can get them as well as Pro Markers and Miss Tilda and her pals over at Dies To Die For. And there is a fab offer on for the new PM colours (which, shock horror, I haven't yet got, so I for one have got to investigate this one lolxxx)

I punched the flowers (they were being lippy lol xxx) and used buttons and Craftwork Cards Card Candy for the middles.

All the papers are Pink Petticoat - Mini Little Big Dots, Stripes, and the grey with teeny black dots is black dots from Bloomin Doodles which was then over printed with a silver solid.

Is it my eyes or is this pic a bit fuzzy ????

Ahh that's better.

Here's the arty farty angle shot which doesn't show the dimensions too well but there is some there cos I don't really like 'flat'.

So that's the first card.

And here's the second.

I just LOVE this image - she is so sweet and she's all kitted out in her Christmas clothes. She is Milly on her Reindeer and she is one of the gorgeous Christmas stamps by the fabbytastic Janet at Pink Gem.

Not only is she available, but there are some new stamps on sale today so nip over and check it all out cos they are FAB :)

So this is the card I did using the gorge sketch over at Sketch And Stash which has been done by Tanja. I coloured Milly with PMs and I also did the snow thing again with some Flower Soft. I think it looks fab - just like crunchy snow :)

The red checked papers is a download from Mad About Cards and the ribbon is a bit which I found in my ribbon box and I added 3 bells which really 'tinkle' I THINK I got them from Creative Pastimes but I wouldn't swear to it.

And that's me card.

No matter how hard I try, I just cannot get the photo editing right when I use red and green. If anyone else has had this prob and knows how to resolve it, please please pretty please tell me how to fix it, cos it drives me mad.

Well I am off cos it's SCD and XF tonight. Now I have to say that Joe Calzaghe did show signs of getting better in the group dance last night so maybe there's hope. But now I saw Ricky Whittle dance, well he is for sure going to win. Not only is he gorgeous, but he is just a brilliant dancer. And shock of the week is old Tuffers cos he was quite good I thought.

So I'm off for a nice glass of something white and nicely chilled - no not lemonade!!! Kyla has been to a party today and she's just going to bed, Emma is off out to a pary tonight so it's just me and the tricky one, who is now fully recovered from his fall, and thank you for all your nice comments re that xxx

Just like Arnie, I'll be back ............ tomorrow, cos (and I really can't believe how this week has flown), it's time for another Anyone For Anya challenge.

Have a fab Saturday night and hugs to all xxx

Double Spookytastic Picfest :)

Try saying that when you've had a few lol xxx

It's trick or treat time but I hope that you think it's a treat cos I've lots of pics for this card. This lil devil is Max and he is one of the fabulous Pink Gem Designs images which have been created by the sweetness that is Janet - you can see more of Max here.

I was thrilled not so long ago to be asked to be a Guest Designer for Janet and this is my first card for her. I love this image and how perfect for Halloween is he, all kitted out and ready to go.

As always he has been coloured with the good old bad boys but one again there is not a speck of bling here.

I thought this card would be perfect for Cute Card Thursday which this week is Hidden Treasure (I'll explain in a sec) and also for Stamp With Fun which is a lovely sketch

So this is the old card.

Spot my attempt at spooky writing cos I dragged the text box 'down' to give it a touch of the twightlight zone!!!!

Now I did say that the challenge over at CCT was Hidden Treasures .......

... so here's what I did.

The front part of the card lifts up to reveal who has had off with the treats.

And I can reveal .....

... that it was Spot The Dog :)

You can maybe see what I mean a bit better here.
Not sure about those brads now I see it here.

The paper is the new Pink Petticoat Spooky Doodles - it is a brilliant range of papers and images!!!!

And I 'ad libbed' a bit with the spiders (I remembered just in time that spiders have 8 legs and not 6 as per my card last year - doh!!!!)

And that's it - held shut for this pic courtesy of a little bit of Bluetack :)
Hope you likee!!!

I'm giving it to my great nephew for Halloween. We always dress the kids up and subject my poor aunty and uncle to an hour of trick or treating!!!!

I'm on a bit of a flyer tonight cos thanks to a wonderful friend across the pond, who shall remain nameless (but she knows who she is and I love her dearly for all her help xxx), I have just taken delivery of a fabbydoodles new Cricut cartridge and I so wanna play with it. I am also going to plug in my Cricut Design Studio which l've only had since Christmas and never used (shame on me and sorry Richard!!!) so that's my evening planned.

Hope you all have a wonderful evening, whatever your plans are and see ya soon xxxxx

Better Shape Up xxx

Well girls, another week has gone by and it's time for another fab Papertake Weekly Challenge.

This week it's all about shapin' up lol xxx
The challenge is to use 3 shapes on your card or layout, and if you get really stuck, you can count your card base as one of your shapes.

So starting with a square card blank, I used one of the fabulous lil Denny Dragons from Pink Gem, coloured him with PMs, used my oval nesties, made a rectangle background with the PMs and Glamour Dust as per my earlier post. The buttons are from my stash, as are the ribbons. The sentiment is a Do Crafts stamp which I got from the sooper sale at the weekend.

Now I have to say that as I mentioned yesterday, my camera is mucking about at the mo and is not liking the green and pink for some reason cos IRL it looks a lot nicer than it does on here, so sorry peeps for the rubbish photos :((

Speaking of shaping up, today is the first day of yet another one of my diets.

I did go to Slimmers World last year and I did lose almost a stone of lardage and I noticed when I got my book out to check the 'rules' that I registered on 8th January, so it's just over a year ago since the last dietary episode. I am determined to lose the weight again and I have found that this diet is less painful than others cos there are loads of things to eat and you are never hungry.

I am kicking myself for being a greedy gannet with all things biscuity and cakey cos if I hadn't, I would not have put some of it back on, cry cry. I'm not at the stage where I look like I need a good iron when I've got me kit off, (you know, the Shar Pei puppy look lol xxx) but if I don't do something now, then it's Morphy Richards here I come lol xxx

Have a great night chickadees and enjoy the footie if like Richard and Emma you are glued to the telly (making me miss Corrie incidentally, cos they wanted to watch the build up!!).

Back tomorra with some more cardage and hopefully better quality pics cos quite frankly, these tonight are awful (hangs head in shame!!).

Huggles xxx
