Little Cutie xxx

This is Penelope - she's ever so sweet xx

This is my first card for a Pollycrafts Challenge, and when I saw that it was flowers and ribbons, well, how could I not have a go!!! So I used the lovely Penelope (from Pollycrafts) and coloured her with PMs (yawn yawn!!). I decoupaged the daisy for a bit of dimension - you can just about see it.

The ribbons are from the very wonderful Poppicrafts and the not so wonderful (cos it is a completely disorganised jumble) Dawny's stash. Ohhh disaster, cos I used the last bit of that fabby gingham, and I cannot for the life of me remember where I got it it from, sob sob. The papers are all PP and the flowers are teeny tiny punched ones - hope they still count!!

I keep moving back to the gorgeous pink / pale green / black colour combo, being the creature of habit that I am. Sorry, it must be like Groundhog Day when you come and visit here lol xxxx. And talking of which, can you guess what else I used? Ay, it's there alright. But quite honestly I don't know why I bothered cos you can hardly see it.

What a waste of time that was lol xxxx

Here's the arty shot again!!!

You can see the daisy better here, and also you can now see what I mean about Martha Stewart's finest wasting it's time turning up on this card, cos even in close up - and you couldn't get much nearer really without it being shoved up yer nostrils - you can still hardly see it.

Sometimes I worry about myself lol xxx
Maybe I am just addicted to that lil old piece of metal and have to sneakily stick it on whether it's needed or not. And it's not in this case, I know that.

But sadly, I did it anyway!!!

I'll be back tomorrow and I'll do me best to actually make a card without the punch. You never know, I may even leave the PM's alone as well. What do ya think?

No, me neither lol xxx

Card for Kyla xxx

I think this is soooo sweet xxx
Yes, the birthday girl is 3 today and I can hardly believe it, bless her.
As I told you yesterday, I hadn't got her card made and I still hadn't at gone 10 last night - shameful I know. Don't know about you, but if I am going to get a block, it is usually when I really want to do something nice. Maybe I just try a bit too hard and it doesn't happen, I don't know. But it is sooooo annoying.

So I was in and out of my room last night, looking at this and looking at that and none of it was quite what I wanted.

Then ............ eureka - ka - ka - ka!!!!

I remembered that I had got a Pollycraft download, the Phoebe and Maude Spring Kit, and as soon as I saw it, I knew that this baby was gonna save my bacon. So, together with my ever fave PP Little Fleurs and Mini Little Dots paper (plus a bit of fab doodle stripes I had left over from the other day), some ribbon and buttons from my stash, I set to work. The only thing I was missing was a sentiment and 5 minutes on the old puter and Word Art soon sorted that one.

Et voila.

You will notice that one of the usual suspects is missing from my 'what I used' list, and you'd be right.

Ayy, I have made no mention of PMs (although there is Glamour Dust on here). That's cos these beauties are already coloured!!
Marvellous :)))

So the whole thing couldn't have taken me more that 15 minutes, and I don't think it's turned out too bad considering the piddly amount of time spent .

'Ere's the funny angle again lol xxx

So she opened it this morning and I think she liked it, but she probably loved her giftage more I susect lol xxx

And I just had to share this with you. The other kids in her pre-school class made this card for her. They have all made a little piece of it and the nannies have stuck them all together.

Awww how sweet, cos they are only dinkies after all, bless them.

I'm orf to have a play with some fabulous new stamps I got this morning, plus get me stuff sorted cos I am demo-ing tomorra at Creative Pastimes (Pro Markers at 11am if you are about) so have a great day and a brilliant weekend.

Luv 'n' hugs xxxxx

What a Day xxxx

More of that in a sec, but first, here's a card I actually MADE lol xxxx

This is the first card I have made since I was unwell - maybe almost 2 weeks!!!

Shock horror!!!!

Over at Papertake Weekly, its Monochrome Madness this week.
I am still having a bit of a thing for Liz at PP's pale green washed solid delish paper, so I decided to do lovely lime. And as I was awol from last week's PTW due to a snotty conk, high temperature and a cough that made me sound so much like a sealion, I was expecting someone to chuck me a fish, I thought I'd use my last sketch as a LO.

Papers are PP, the image is Pollycrafts coloured with PMs and I can't remember where I got that sentiment from, sorry!!
Well I am getting on a bit now lol xxxx

So what's been happening today???

Well, I've had a marvellous day. I have been quite overwhelmed at the number of cards I got and by how many people stopped by to wish me well. I've had so many lovely messages and it has made my day truly quite special. I'll be back tomorrow with the full SP and some pics when I've sorted them out, but I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your good wishes.

It aint that bad now I've got here I suppose.

See you tomorrow xxxx

Stars And Stripes and Spicy Browns xxx

What gorgeous colours in the new December kit from Raspberry Ribbons which is now on sale. Check it out here

These are some of my cards made with the new kit xxx

I used my new Pollycrafts stamp again cos I just love that little face. I must do another one but colour it as a girl. The card blank is Craftwork Cards and the DP is Tinker & Co. I coloured the image with PMs and used a Sakura Glaze pen to highlight.
DP is from the extremely lovely and kind lady that is Summer Driggs - this is from her Vintage Oreos set. Again, Tilda is coloured with PMs. You probably can't tell from this picture but that ribbon is the most beautiful colour - like a rusty rich coppery brown. Delish xx

And that's a Martha Stewart punch, you're right, but it's not the usual suspect.

Thanks to one of my very good blog buds who will remain nameless cos I dont want her to get inundated (but she knows who she is and she knows I am truly thankful for all her help of late xxx), my MSBP has a new pal to keep it company.

This little beauty not only cuts a fine zig zag border but it embosses and punches little dinky holes at the same time. It's fab and at the mo, they are on offer at MS - although when I went to the site to put the link on, there didn't seem to be any of this type there. That's the bad news. The good news is that all the punches are reduced from $14.99 to $11.24 including my beloved doily punch, which you know I just lubs a lot xxxx

So, will this one replace the doily punch in my affections???

NOT a cat's chance in hell, although I think it is quite fetching and I do rather like it.

A lot.
And talking of liking a lot, this is one of my gorge Alota stamps coloured with PMs - just for a change. I used the PP Really Big Dots download again which I love so much (no doubt cos I am a bit dotty meself lol xx).

So all in all, I think this one has to be my personal fave.

I'll be back with some more tomorrow but for now I am going to get my heavy duty sex kitten pjs on, compelete with bed socks (I've given you that particular picture before and can't bring myself to inflict it on you lovely peeps again). Then it's a fab night of telly for the Phillips-May household.

Stricly Come Dancing First - ohhhh Bruce gets more and more toe-curlingly embarrasing as the weeks go on, but I LOVE Bruno and Craig - fab-you-lous!!.

Then X Factor - Alexandra to win, she's awesome and I'm sort of glad that gobby Rachel went. What an appalling flippin attituide!!!.

Then to top it all off, IACGMOOH.

Can I just ask, nobody in Blogland is voting for the arrogant, smug, self satisfied, hair gelled to within an inch if its life, half wit that is DVD are they ????

Oh please don't lovlies - it's just encouraging him. I think he is starting to think that someone likes him lol xxx. Sorry if you are a Dollar fan (that really is shameful, and that's coming from a Shakin Stevens fan as well lol xx) but I have an overwhelming urge to give him a fistful of the beggars every time I look at him!!!!

Harsh but true. But have a great evening and see ya manana xxxxx
