Hi peeps and hope everyone is fandabidozee today (I, as usual, am just dozee lol!!)
I can’t believe we are in February now cos Christmas to be honest doesn’t seem that long ago (unless that’s just me) but already this year is flying by!!
So as it’s the first challenge of the month over at Papertake Weekly, we have our usual open theme so you get to do whatever you want here with the option of adding some flowers to your card or work. I have to say that once again the fabulous DT have come up trumps and made some stunners so nip and have a mooch if you get a sec - and we have a new girlie as well xxx
And we are sponsored by the very lovely Lisa and Laila, from Lili Of The Valley
and look what you could win this week ….
… it’s marvellous, and hugest of thanks to LOTV for their sponsorship :)
So this is what I did.
I used the brilliant Pink Petticoat Vintage Rose papers which are pretty and chintzy and girlie and of course they are a freebie with this months QCME mag which is out today – wooohooooo!!!
They are just gorge I think.
I coloured the LOTV image which is Times To Treasure (and oh so cute) of course with me Copics in these colours -
Skin:E00, E21, R11, R20
Hair: E42, E50, E51
Clothes etc: E0000, E21, E31, E33, E35, E51, RV0000, RV000, RV02, RV10, YG0000, YG00, YG01
And look peepsies ……, Lord Timmy’s scallop is back :)
These gorgeous flowers are of course all from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I kept it quite simple today cos there is a fair old bit going on here….
.. because (time to fess up here !!) …
…. I covered the Marianne D Creatable Swirl Die (which you can get from Tracy at Dies To Die For) with some teeny tiny blingy bits cos I ripped it – clumsy trotter syndrome no doubt!!!.
I have to be honest and say that I think it is way OTT but needs must. I didn’t have any more pink Bazzill left to cut out another one and I didn't want to add any more blooms in that corner.
So there you go – all done. I do love this colour combi and for once, although I didn't quite get the light right on the pics, the colours came through OK.
I’m off now but I’ll be back tomorrow with the second part of our Pink Petticoat blog hop. Don’t forget to nip over to Liz’s blog here for the start of today’s part. She has made something which is so simple but it literally took my breath away, it is so beautiful.
So have a nice day and I’ll see you tomorrow and hugs to all xxx
I htink it is lovely x
