Morning lovely peeps and as promised I have something seasonal to share today.
No it’s not Christmas, it’s actually Autumn and I think that it’s possibly my favourite season. I love the smells of the smoke in the air as people start to light fires, and the mists that come down and cast an eerie feel over the fields.
I love staying indoors snuggled up in the kitchen with a with a hot choccie and a good book in front of the stove and shutting the outside world out for a couple of hours (oh Miss Anti Social!!)
I love all the rich colours that nature gives us at this time of year, all the golds and browns and russets.
So not surprisingly, I love these new Pink Petticoat collections :)
And there’s offers on both collections until Sunday 10th October and you can check it all out right here :)
So the papers I’ve used for my cards are Autumn Blossoms. There are 2 colour palettes to choose from here, Autumn Leaves and Shades Of Heather. Well I just couldn't decide which one to use …
… so I made the same card (ish) in both colour themes.
And STILL I cannot decide which I like best!!!
I cut the leaves out from one of the sheets, Glamour Dusted each vein and then stuck them part way around a large Nestabilities ( Beaded Circles) die cut. Both cards have a Marianne Design Creatables (Butterfly Style 3) die cut to pick up the butterflies in the oh so pretty paper.
So both cards are almost the same but not quite because -
This one has self adhesive pearls …
… and this one has a border punched with a MS Deep Edger Border Punch - Flower Bed.
But they both have a ‘just gorgeous’ sentiment which is from Liz’s Girly Curly Sentiments Collection.
So what do you think? Which is your fave colour palette or are you like me and cannot choose?
Well as it’s Saturday and her Ladyship is in residence, I am on the ballet school run this morning (awww!!) and as Emma has to work today, we are then doing the swimming lesson run later on. So I’m off to get the tutu and swimming cozzie packed in the bag then it’s all systems go.
Have a wonderful weekend and see you soon and huggiest of hugs to all xxx
They're both completely stunning and I couldn't pick between them. The papers are fabulous.
