Hi peeps and hope you are all OK xxx
Well this is a real quickie again today (hence the rather sad post title lol!!!) but I just couldn’t resist doing a little bit of cardage with this oh so gorge image and I thought it would do nicely for the Seasons theme over at the Lovely hAnglar challenge.
This is the first time I’ve entered this one but I am pretty sure it won’t be the last :)
So of course, my season is winter and I did a Chrimbly card. I coloured Miss H&S in Copics in these colours -
Skin: E00 E21, R11, R20
Hair: E42, E50
Clothes: B0000, B00, W1, W3, W5, YG0000, YG03
and of course they are available from Tracy ( the glamour girl) over at Dies To Die For. Keep checking the website as well peeps cos there are some awesome kits coming :)
The ‘snowflake’ embellies were made using an EK Success Retro flower punch in large and medium sizes. The large one was made by scoring each petal down the centre, snipping off a bit at each end (ie the same shape as the smaller ones), pinching the petals together and then layering them one on top of the other. The smaller ones were made in the same way but the petals weren’t pinched!!!
The papers are Nitwits and the text is a sentiment ribbon from the oh so fab Pink Petticoat. I also used the PATP eyelet lace punch which is again from Tracy.
I’m loving these ‘see each side of the card’ pics :)
Just humour me peeps cos I’ll move onto something else before long no doubt lol!!!
So that’s me done.
I’m off to do a bit more work and if it’s true that there is no rest for the wicked, all I can say is that I must be very VERY bad. But we’re off to Emma’s for din-dins tonight so I‘ve got out of cooking (again!!) which will save me a bit of time. But this is a sort of last splurge cos I have undone a bit of my hard work on the diet front and I've put on 2lbs.
I could have cried!!
There is no way on God’s green earth that I’m getting on me bike in the cold and frosty weather – chapped legs aint attractive are they. So I'm afraid it’s back to the ‘ cut down on what goes into the mush’ diet for me. Plus a bit of wii-ing here and there – the dance DVD is fab although I am petrified that the postie will catch me at it. The poor man would be traumatised for sure!!!
Before I go, wasn't it wonderful to see the miners being brought up from their underground hell this morning peeps. I had tears in my eyes – espesh for the young man who hadn’t yet seen his child. I cannot image what they must have gone through and for once this is a happy ending, although I’m sure it will take them all a long time to get over it – if they ever can of course.
Have the fabbiest of days and see you tomoz cos it’s LOTV challenge day.
Hugs to all xxx
