The Cutest Quickie Ever ;)

im

Hi peeps and yes, as per the post title, this has got to be one of the quickest cards (and posts!!) I’ve ever done.  The card took less than 15 minutes and  as it’s a Christmas card, that can only be a good thing IMHO lol xxx

It’s actually my card for this week’s Lili Of The Valley Thursday Challenge which is based on a fab sketch by our very own Bev. And the DT cards are as ever just beautiful so if you get a sec, nip over and have a mooch.

So here’s the sketch…..

… and this is what I did with it.

I used one of the cute squares which  really are worth their weight in gold when you are in a rush so there was no colouring or cutting involved. If like me you are a serious glitter freak, then you can add a little sparkle if you want to.

These papers match these images so well and they are also a Lili Of The Valley product - you can see them here peeps :)

The greeting is one of the sentiment ribbons from Pink Petticoat (aren't they fab!!!) and I used the PATP eyelet lace punch again, which you can get from Dies To Die For.

And that’s the card done.

It’s another flyer today but before I go, I just had to share this with you. It’s my latest commission in Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine – issue 84 – which features the Lili Of The Valley nativity images, papers and greetings. This was a peach of a commission for me and I was so chuffed when I saw the cards in print and I love how they’ve photographed them.

You can’t see from here but all the images have been decoupaged, so they took a little bit longer than today’s card but  I reckon if you used the cute squares, they’d take no time at all.

I’m turning into a right lazy mare aren't I!!!!!!

Well maybe not cos the card I have for tomoz took me quite a bit longer than this one did to make. I’ll leave you with a sneaky peekie and I’ll see you tomorrow with the rest of it.

Have  a fab day and hugs to all xxx
