An 'Isn't She Lovely' Sneekie Peekie Kinda Card :)

Picture-006web

Hi there me darlins and hope you are all OK today :)

I'm a tad on the late side with this card here because it's my card for yesterday's  Papertake Weekly

Anything Goes

challenge.

There's an option to include and animal or creature or you can use animal print papers. I'm not sure if a little fairy qualifies as a creature but even so it don't matter cos it's only an option and you don't have to go with it.

So....

... this is what I did.

The image I used is called Cute Fairy (isn't she just) and she is one of the new Lili of The Valley release which is due out on the 6th so not long to go now. And more about the 6th in a tick

And I coloured her with the following Copics -

Skin - E000, E00, E11, E21, R00, R02
Hair - E31, E35, E39, E50
The rest - BG0000, BG10, BG15, BV0000, BV000, BV00, BV02, BV13, E30, E41, E42, E43, E85

I used a combi of 2 8x8 Paper Pads from LOTV and they are Promises and Bonnets and Bowties.
I think they work really well together :)

A selection of prettiness from The Ribbon Girl  - Vintage Seam Binding  in  Royal Peacock  and Sky Mauve Lilac and topped with an Aqua Small Striped Button.

And there's a cheeky bit of Cheesecloth peeking out as well :)

The cute little tags were made from this ...

... Joy Crafts Labels & Tags die set.

I got mine from LOTV and they may still have some so it's worth a quick call if you are placing an order and they can get them to you if they have any in stock.

Verrrry sweet and pretty and ohhh so useful :)

The card base was made  from my new Go Kreate Frilly Frame #6 die - I did warn you that it would be used on here a lot!!! It's one of those things that now I have it, I wonder how I ever managed without it!!!

OK so that's the old card done.

This weekend I'm going over the big hill up to Leeds to the Lili of The Valley shop because we have some fab workshops going on with yours truly, one of which is our popular 'Perfect Card' workshop. Last time we made a card for a boy or man as it was close to Father's day so this time we are going all girly and making something pretty and sweet - I will be in my element!!!

I do believe that there are a few places still left so if you fancy coming along, give Erica a ring at the shop or e-mail her at erica@liliofthevalley.co.uk  and she will be happy to help you.

As well as the workshops, you will be able to get your mitts on the brand new release, plus you can browse all the loveliness in the shop and take away loads of ideas and inspiration too :).

So that's me done and I'll be back tomorrow cos there's a bit of a hoppity hop going on.

Till then, have the fabbiest of days and huggiest of hugs to all xxx

  3. Oooooh this is so gorgeous! I love these fairies from LOTV so much and you coloured her beautiful.
I do wonder how you make the double bow and how you attach it to the card. All with glue? And the button on top also with glue?? Maybe you can tell me? ;-)
