Good morning sweet peeps - hope you are all OK today and thanks for stopping by :)
Today we are holding a Lili of the Valley design team blog hop to celebrate the launch of their gorgeous new Vintage Boy stamps. We've been sneakie peeking them for the last few days or so - have you chosen your favourite yet?
There are 8 of the cutest images and they will be perfect for those hard to make cards for boys and men and they will be available to buy on the website from midday on Monday 6th May (UK time). You will also be able to get them at the Lili of the Valley shop in Leeds on Saturday (4th) if you are near enough to visit. And if you are near, do come and say howdy cos I will be over there doing my recipe box thing :)
So all the fabulous LOTV design team are all joining in and you just need to ‘hop’ from one blog to another, following the links, and leave a comment on each card. And you will hopefully pick up some inspiration and ideas along the way for using the new images
We don’t know where the prizes are so make sure you visit every blog.
We'll let you know tomorrow evening which were the ‘lucky’ blogs and our 2 winners will be drawn at random from all the comments that were left
There will be 2 prize winners, each winning the full set of 8 new stamps
So, what did I do then?
Well I think I saved my favourite image of this release until today.
I love them all but being a country girl meself I especially love this little farmer Giles here and he is called
In The Country
and I gave him the Copics treatment with these colours -
Skin - E000, E00, E11, E13, R00, R02
Hair - E35, E39
Clothes - E41, E43, E50, YG00, YG95, YG99
Gate - E31, E33, E35, E39, E47, E50
Wall - W00, W1, W3, W5, W7
Dog - C00, C1, C3,C5, C7, Black
Ground - E41, E42, E43, W3, W5, W7
I used quite a few (you probably noticed!!) so I hope that by breaking it all down into smaller areas it's easier to follow, otherwise it all gets in a bit of a jumble!!
The papers are from a Bazzill LICORICE 6 x 6 Paper Multi-Pack and a bit of left over My Minds Eye Stella & Rose
I used 4 different dies and they are -
Cheery Lynn Buttons D101
Memory Box Grasslands Border
Memory Box Lavish Branch
Spellbinders Decorative Labels 22
Where would I be without me Safmat!!
I'm wayyy too chicken to stamp directly onto a finished image!!
Right so that's me card done and it's time to get on with the hop.
Here's a list of all the blogs taking part -
Remember you will need to visit them all and leave a comment to have the best chance of winning;
Dawny (me!!)
And of course, don’t forget to stop by the Ideas to Inspire blog tomorrow evening when you can find out where the hidden prizes were.
Enjoy the hop… and good luck!
And enjoy the rest of your day too.
Huggiest of hugs to all xxx
