A very good morning lovely peeps and hope you are all OK today.
It’s still verrry cold here but the snow is going – yayyyyy!! BUT I think it may be back during next week (boooo, hisss!!)
So the best thing to do I reckon is to stay indoors and do a bit of crafty crafting :)))))
So it’s a brand new year for challenges' over at The Ribbon Girl Blog and today's challenge is a colour challenge which is ……
… Pink and Ivory!
There are 2 prizes up for grabs - a £10 voucher from Lisa and Laila at Lili of the Valley
plus a £10 voucher towards a spending spree at The Ribbon Girl
Now these colours are right up my Straße, and I don't think I am alone either cos the DT creations are super dooper fab so if you get a sec go and have a mooch. You won't be disappointed fo sho!!!
So what did I do then?
This is the very chap right here.
I used one of the new Magnolias - Tilda With Dot Bow (which you can get from Simon Says Stamp) and gave her the Distress Inks treatment and these are the colours I used -
Skin - Tattered Rose & Vintage Photo
Cheeks - Worn Lipstick & Tea Dye
Hair – Antique Linen & Walnut Stain
Clothes – Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick
I’m getting a bit more used to them now :)
What you can’t see on the pic is that I’ve added some Diamond Stickles (I blame the photographer!!).
Some beautimous Ribbon Girl stuff here – I’ll put the list at the end with pics.
The papers are a bit of a mash up from various Nitwits collections – Bear Girls Too, FQB - Mr and Mrs and FQB - Grin 'n Bear It
It’s so useful that they all work together so well.
Those Kort & Godt Pink Rolled Paper Roses are just so pretty – LOVE them :)
Do you like this little heart banner (and please excuse the grainy as hell pic peeps!!)
It’s made from a
Simon Says Stamp String of Hearts Craft Die
The card base is an On The Edge - Top Notch card base from Craftwork Cards (check out the inked edges again – I don't know what’s coming over me lately with all this inking etc etc lol!!).
Ok so here’s the stuff from The Ribbon Girl that I used today.
If you click the pic it will take you straight to the right place in the shop.
Only one more week to go before the brand new Ribbon Girl Magnolia Only challenges start and I am sooo excited by this (you can read all about it here peeps)
And a bit more news – there is a brand new collection coming from Lili of The Valley ……
… which are perfect for Valentines Day as well as Anniversary's etc or even just for loved up peeps and even better news is that you don't have to wait long to see them cos they go on sale tomorrow, wooohoooo!!
Right on that note I better get off and get on :) We are off to watch Kyla horse riding and then Nik, Em and I are off to do a bti of shopping. I have no doubt at all in my mind that Miss Kyla will be joining us because there is a Claire's Accessories there and it is to her what craft shops are to us!!
Enjoy your Sunday and see you in the week. Stay warm and safe and huggiest of hugs to all xxx
