Hi there sweet peeps and a very Happy Sunday to you xxx
I am a tad late with my card today because I have had techie probs again, caused by a geriatric router but at least that is easy to sort now we know what it is and my new one is on the way.
But not only that, we have had something electrical ‘go’ and the fuse box tripped which caused my oven to blow a fuse. This in turn caused me to blow a fuse because this is the second time this has happened and getting it fixed means that I have to call out Rangemaster which a) take ages and b) causes them to whinge and whine that they cannot move it cos the stoopid tiler tiled around it so that it has to literally be lifted out. So our electrics have been on and off more times than a strippers g string today - grrrr!!! Why is it that stuff like this happens on a Sunday when Sparky McSpark isn’t working and my Richard is and I am by myself here!!!!
It’s been one of those days from the minute my eyes opened today.
But anyhoos, enough of my tales of woe – it’s time for the second …
We have our regular prize of a £10 voucher to spend in the Ribbon Girl online shop
as well as a stamp of your choice from the very generous Laila and Lisa at Lili Of The Valley
Our challenge this month is to create a girlie card ….
… and this is what I did.
Sweet Princess Tilda was coloured with these Copics -
Skin – E000, E00, E11, E21, R00, R02
Hair – E43, E50, E81
The rest - R85, RV0000, RV000, RV00, Y21, Y28
The papers are all from the FQB Garden Fairies from Nitwits
So with all the pretties on sale in the Ribbon Girl shop, I was spoilt for choice what to use to be honest so here’s what I decided on in the end …
… a diamante heart stick pin, and this is pure beautimous for sure !!!
The blooms are -
pink carnations, pink two tone pretty blossoms and rose leaves.
Here’s a close up of that pin :)
I don’t want to part with it and Kyla’s eyes were on stalks when she saw it.
The bow was made using pink blush velvet ribbon and you can just see the 4mm pearl string that I edged the image panel with.
So that’s the old card done and now I am off to have a lie down in a dark room, so please excuse the shortie today. I am typing this so quickly in case the power goes again. Hopefully we will get it all fixed tomoz and normal service will be resumed.
Or whatever passes for normal in this house!!!
Enjoy your evening and huggiest of hugst to all xxx

Sounds like you've had quite a day Dawny :P Our oven is the same, it's put in weirdways so every time something goes wrong with it, it's a huge rigmarole to get at it to fix it - I feel your pain!
