Little April Showers :)

Picture 007c copy

Morning lovely peeps and I hope that you are OK today and that you all had a fab Easter. If you’ve come over to check out the baby jumper post, thank you so much and you can find it right here.

Today over at Papertake Weekly our theme is

April Showers (or Water Water Everywhere!!)

and all we want you to do is to include something to do with water here ie raindrops or the sea, that sort of thing .

(as I am wring this, it has started to do the April Shower thing here even though it’s been a gorgeous morning so far so next time I am going to write ‘hot and sunny’ and see it it does anything lol!!!)

We’re sponsored by our lovely friend and ex Papertaker Katharina over at Whiff of Joy and the DT have, as always,  come up trumps with their cards and there’s lots of different ideas, so if you get a sec, nip over and have a mooch.

Here’s what I did.

I very nearly used a Magnolias image but decided against it at the last minute and went for this beaut here. It’s one of Krista’s amazing creations at Saturated Canary. I LOVE her images – always on trend and always original :)

She’s called Rainy Day and I just went to get the link to her but Krista is on holiday so I’m not able to add it at the mo, sorry peeps.

But I coloured her with these Copics -

Skin – E000, E00, E11, E21, R00, R20

Hair – E50, E81

The rest – B0000, B000, B00, B02, B05, C2, C4, N0, G99, YG0000, YG00. YG03

The papers are a mixture of FQB Big Top and FQB From The Sea and they are both from the ever so fab Nitwits.

This ribbon is so delicate and pretty and I just fell in love with it – so much so that I could barely bring myself to cut it ( soft mare that I am!!!!) . It’s 25mm Sea Foam Green Plain Sheer and it is of course from The Ribbon Girl.

Mega delish me thinks!!!

Ohhh dear – please excuse the rotten pic here but I could not get the light right at all.  I used a Martha Stewart Hydrangea punch  from Simon Says Stamp and added a little blob of baby blue liquid pearls to the centres. IRL these  little blooms are quite pretty but they look a bit naff on here – sorry peeps!!!

That ‘yellow’ looking card on the flowers is actually a very nice green – doh!!!!

So that’s the old card done today and I’ll be back tomorrow with some more cardage to share.

So until then, have the best day and huggiest of hugs to all xxx
