Hi peeps and a Happy Sunday to you all today xxx
After our break, The Ribbon Girls are back with another fab colour challenge and this time it’s been chosen by Jo ‘killer cards’ Kill – that girl is awesome!!!
This month it’s all about green and brown and as always the DT have made the most design projects to share and if you click on the logo, you’ll go straight to the challenge :)
There is a fantastic prize for this month's challenge from the lovely Lisa and Laila at Lili Of The Valley …..
We also have a prize from the Ribbon Girl, a £5 voucher to spend in the store as well as a Halloween mini kit - this Halloween kit is a special Limited Edition kit and is chock full of lovely goodies for all of your Halloween crafts and more …..
So for this month’s challenge ….
… this is what I did.
I used another new Lili Of The Valley releases and this is Christmas Bears Presents
I coloured it with these Copics -
C1, C3, E08, E29, E33, E35, E37, E41, E42, E43, E47, G94, R46, YG0000, YG03
and added a dash of polychromos here and there.
The papers are both Nitwits and so am I because I forgot to send this over to Mary and Andrea so boo hiss to me for that and hugest of apols to those lovely chicksies xxx
You know I love ginghams right?
Well the texture of this ribbon here is amazing – it’s 16mm brown tea dyed check cotton and it’s from The Ribbon Girl, natch :)
It stays put once it’s tied and is nice and sturdy.
Fabulous stuff :)
So there I am done for today and I’ll be back tomoz with my JM card from Friday – yes we have been up to our bits here once again!!! I am off now for a bit of Sunday lunch at the pub - too lazy to cook today so his Lordship is escorting me there for some grub :) We may even go out on the old penny farthings once we are done but I guess that depends on how much vino is consumed.
Before I sign off I have to say thank you to some special peeps.
Firstly Jacque my darling, I am fine sweetie. Thank you for your lovely email – it did make me smile - and I will drop you an email back in the week. And to my other sweet sweet friend and Mummy Fairy, Jacqui for your lovely words :) It does seem so long ago now when we all started and over those years I have made so many friends. I never thought for one second that I would ever actually meet any of them but I have.
And Jac you are so right, crafters are the BEST.
So a mahoosive thank you to everybody that visits me here and puts up with the inane waffle. I don’t always get around to leaving comments for everybody but I always appreciate that you took the time to come here – mmmmwaaaaahhhhh xxx
Enjoy your Sunday and huggiest of hugs to all xxx
