So this is my card  - I flipped the sketch !!

I got me this cute hAnglar & stAnglar girlie last week and couldn't help but use her for this card. She is so sweet – hence the sentiment – and I coloured her with these Copics -

E00, E21, R11 (skin), E40, E41, E50 (hair), C00, C1, C3, RV0000, RV000, RV00, RV85 (clothes etc).

There’s just the teeniest bit of glitter today which you can hardly see on the pic but it is there.

Picture 006c

No mistaking these gorge blooms from the wonderful Wild Orchid Crafts. I used 15mm open roses, 5mm closed rosebuds and a fab  35mm trellis rose in pink  mist from the Classic  Colour Range

Speaking of WOC, it is with much sadness that I decided to step down from the DT last week. I have had a blast on that team – they are a great bunch of girls and all so talented - and it really was a very tough decision for me. I feel privileged to have been part of it and I would like to thank Paul and Siri and all of the DT from the bottom of my heart for having me xxx.

Picture 007c copy

The papers are all Pink Petticoat and the pretty self adhesive rhinestones are of course from Wild Orchid Crafts

Picture 008c copy

The beautimous ribbon is seam binding in Siam Pink from The Ribbon Girl  - LOVE that shade of pink :)

Hi chicksies and hope you are all well xx

It’s Friday and the start of a loooooooong weekend – woooohooooooooooooooo!!!! So let’s kick it all of by checking out what’s happening over at the Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar challenge today.

It’s a double giveaway as we have 2 very generous Sponsors this week.

First we have a  Crafts U Love £10 voucher

And our second prize is sponsored by the fabulous

The Ribbon Girl ….

…. and the winner gets to choose one of the special collection kits in the colour of their choice.

And what a nice challenge cos it’s all about

Friends

so you just need to make a ‘friend’ inspired card or project.

Picture 008c copy

So this is what I did.

I seem to be back on the pink again peeps and I coloured the lil hAnglar & stAnglar sweetie with these Copics -

E00, E21, R11, R20 (skin), E33, E50 (hair),  C00, C1, C3, RV0000, RV000, RV00, RV85 (clothes etc)

and the striped paper is Pink Petticoat

Picture 010c copy

I used a scalloped circle card blank pack from Which Craft UK and covered a plain circle with the paper then I edged it with some lace.

The ribbon is organza organza spot 9mm – I used pale pink – and the tag is Pink Petticoat

Picture 0081c copy      Picture 009c1 copy

I used some Wild Orchid Crafts self adhesive pearls to decoate a corner and also to make a little button on her shoe and the die is from  Go-Create die set Pointy Frame #2 which I got from Purple Butterfly Crafts (I added a bit of bling round the edges as well!!)

Picture 011c copy

Check out these beautiful  blooms peeps – I think they look so pretty.  Blooms used are a 25mm wild rose10mm open roses6mm closed rosebuds, 5mm closed rosebuds, 8mm semi open roses and last but by no means least, some gorgeous sweetheart blossoms.

And of course they are all from Wild Orchid Crafts

So that’s me done for the day and also for the week.

Sweet Fairy Pom Pom & Lord Tim’s Clever Die!!!

Picture 004c copy

Hi chicks and hope all is well in your world today xxx

The weekend is almost here – woohoooo – and it’s time to check in with the Lili Of The Valley Thursday challenge girls and we have the sweetest theme for you this week cos it’s

I Believe in Fairies

So all you need to do is to make a card or project featuring one of the LOTV sweet lil fairy peeps and this …..

GIFT VOUCHER[4]

… could be yours :)

Picture 001c copy

I did have a dilemma as there are so many of the sweeties to choose from but in the end I went for Pom Pom as she is just totally gorgeous.

I stopped by Mummy Fairy’s (Jacqui)  blog and saw she had been trying the clean and simple card thing and her card was as fab as always so she inspired me to have a go as well. It is sort of back to my old style cos they all used to be like this once upon a time :)

So lil Pom Pom was coloured with these Copic bad boys ……

E00, E21, R11 (skin), E41, E50 (hair), C1, C3, C5, E40, RV0000, RV000, RV00, RV85 Clothes etc)

and then I dabbed some Diamond Stickles on her frock. I love the way it sort of looks like gold netting.

And seeing as I went back to my roots, the papers are all Pink Petticoat :)

Picture 005c copy

Now I made a discovery while doing this card (you may already have sussed this but it’s clean and simple by nature as well as the card it seems!!!!)

See the blue pelmet bit on the top?

Then see this Tim Holtz Sizzix Die ORNATE On The Edge Alterations die here ( you can get it from Simon Says Stamp).

*Tim Holtz Sizzix Die ORNATE On The Edge Alterations 656626

Well if you put your card on top of the die so that it covers the whole die and then  run it through your machine, that’s the shape you end up with – the negative if you like. I found it by accident as I went to cut the bit that I used on the bottom edge of the card..

Picture 006c1

… this bit here (which is the positive).

I kind of like it actually and will use it again I’m sure :)

Picture 007c copy

I did the rolled up flower thing and then dabbed a bit more Diamond Stickles on them. They look a bit messy here but IRL they are fine :)

Picture 002c copy     Picture 003c copy

Picture 006c copy

Last but but no means least, the self adhesive rhinestones and  pearl sprays are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the gorge organza spotty ribbon is from the fabulous Mary & Andrea over at  The Ribbon Girl - you can see it here

So I’m done for today but before I go I’ll leave you with a little question.

What’s pink, round, pretty and sweet?

Here’s a clue ….

Picture 008c copysp

I’ll tell  you all about it tomoz so till then, have the fabbiest of days and hugs to all xxx

Stars & Stripes + One More :)

 Picture 002c copy

Morning chickens and hope you are all well xxx

It’s the middle of the week and time to head over to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge where there is a whopping ….

.. up for grabs for one lucky girlie :)

We have a very patriotic theme this week and it’s

Stars & Stripes

The DT have made an array of loveliness and there’s lots of different ideas there so if you get a sec, nip and have a mooch.

Picture 001c copy

This is what I did.

I coloured Lace Jeans Tilda with these Copics -

E00, E21, R11, R20 (skin), E40, E41, E43, E50 (hair), B000, B00, B12, C1, C3, RV000, RV00, RV85 (clothes)

And the paper is a Copics thing as well. I just  used some finger lift tape and laid it in lines across some card leaving a small gap in between, coloured in the gaps with the pens, removed the backing tape and dipped it all in some clear glitter.

Picture 006c copy

You can see it here a little better.

I also  used my new Martha Stewart PATP punch,  and the funky star shape from the EK Success Star and Dove Christmas Punch Set (it’s not just for Christmas!!) and finished them off with a tiny bit of bling :)

Picture 003c copy    Picture 004c copy

Picture 005c copy

Now I did say in the title that there was one more and there is ….. cos this is my card from last week’s Simon Says Stamp Challenge which was

Sparkle & Shine

Picture 023c copy

I couldn’t post it cos I had no flippin internet - grrr!!!!

Picture 018c copy

I coloured this little Miss Tilda with these Copics -

E00, E21, R11, R20 (skin), E33, E40, E50 (hair), C00, C1, C3, E35, E40, E50,  RV000, RV00, RV85, YG0000, YG03 (clothes)

The paper at the back was ribbled (oooerrrr!!) and then I sprayed it with loads of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Mist

Picture 022c copy

I also gave the Magnolia Doily Flowers and quick blast as well (I’d also inked the edges). The papers are from the Echo Park SPRINGTIME 12" Collection Kit and I also used my old faithful  Tilda Lace Die as well :)

Picture 019c copy

Picture 021c copy

So that’s me done. I’m off on another flyer but I’ll see you tomorra with something LOTV-ish :))

Have a great day and hugs to all xxx

You’d Never Have Guessed!!!!!

Picture 006c copy

Hi peeps and hope you are all OK xxx

We have a rather tasty little challenge for you today over at Papertake Weekly and it’s

Pale, Pretty Pastels.

Well I bet you can’t guess which colour I went for lol!!!

Yes you are right – it IS pink :)

Picture 001c copy

It couldn’t have been anything else I suppose.

I used the following Copics to colour in my sweet little hAnglar & stAnglar chef girl -

E00, E21, R11, R20 (skin), E41, E50 (hair), C00, C1, C3, , E43, E50, RV0000, RV00, RV85 (clothes etc)

The papers are both from Dies To Die For but I need to check with Tracy what they are so I’ll update once I’ve spoken to her – but they are rather fab don’tya think :)

The die is from  Go-Create die set Pointy Frame #2 which I got from Purple Butterfly Crafts ( hello girlies xxx)

Picture 005c copy

This has to be one of my fave ribbons ever – each time I use it I  just sit there ohhing and ahhign over it. It’s silky crush – I used pale pink – and it’s from The Ribbon Girl. Even if you can’t usually tie bows, you can with this stuff – it’s pure 100% gorge “!!!

And of course there’s a few pretty little Wild Orchid Crafts self adhesive pearls here and there and a nice Lili Of The Valley sentiment (set 9 – mixed circular sentiments)  to finish it all off.

Picture 002c copy     Picture 003c copy

Picture 004c copy

It’s another whistle stop post today peeps cos I am still up to me bits in it all :( so there’s me done and I’m off to see what’s next on the list but I’ll leave you with a sneaky peekie of my card for tomoz …..

Picture 001c copysp

See you then and hugs to all xxxx
