Sunny Sunday :)x

Hi peeps and a very happy Sunday to all xxx

Please excuse my lack of posting these last few days – it’s been a bit topsy turvy here with work and one thing and another – all sorts of stuff happening really!! None of it very exciting really but just very time consuming!!

Anyhoos I will catch up this week but today, it is my absolute honour today to be part of the GDT for this month’s Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge ….

… which is green and yellow and the winner this month will get to chose either a green or a yellow Special Selection Ribbon Kit from the Ribbon Girl shop

You've got until midnight UK time on Sunday April 3rd to submit your creation so why not nip over and have a moochie at the DT cards – all so very gorgeous and all different so oodles of inspiration to be had :)

So this is my lemon lovely – all clean and fresh – apart from the inked edges on the image :)

I coloured Tilda with the Copics and did a really numptie thing (yes not at all  like me I know!!) and carefully put all my Copics away … before making my list so I have no clues which ones I used but the hair and skin will be my usual suspects and the clothes will be lots of Ys, YGs and Es

I think!!!

It was the second numptie I did this week because I only realised that the date I had planned for the Easter Projects workshop at Purple Butterfly Crafts was next Saturday and of course I will be in Brum for the weekend (mooching on the Saturday  ie sitting gabbing in Wetherspoons probably - and on the LOTV stand on Sunday so do come and say howdy if you are about xxx

So poor Lesley had a bit of ringing round to re-organise the ladies who were due to come and thankfully they are all still OK for the following week.

So hugest of apols to all from this red faced piggy here!!! I will hopefully make it up with an extra nice class for you xxx

This beautiful ribbon is of course from The Ribbon Girl shop and instead of twirling the twine stuff I usually use, I went for this …

… loopy trim which you can get here

The satin micro spot  ribbon can be found here. It’s FAB quality – well, it’s Berisfords so enough said :)

The paper is from a Do Crafts pack I got from Purple Butterfly – Lemon Sorbet – and there’s good old Martha’s PATP Eyelet Lace Punch getting over-worked again. Incidentally, you may wonder why I always seem to use this PATP punch. Well I can reveal that the reason is  … it’s the only one I have lol!!

But there are lots of these bad boys over at Dies To Die For so I may just have to go and check them out and give this poor sod a rest!!!

But something I do have loads of is gorge Wild Orchid Crafts blooms and I used a selection of them here, along with some self adhesive pearls.

I chucked some Glossy Accents over the eggs and over Tilda’s boots.

I am OK with the eggs but I am wondering if the boots look a little bit too ‘S&M’ for  poor Tilda?

My old dad used to call big boots ‘clod-hoppers’ – I have no idea why but that just came into my head then lol!!

Okee-dokee that is it for today.

Have a great Sunday and do nip over and check out the challenge if you get a sec peeps.

See you soon if not sooner and huggiest of hugs to all xxx

  6. Another gorgeous card, I love the way you keep using the same old punch - it just goes to show that you don't have to have lots of equipment to make such lovely cards. I have a few sets and a few regrets as some are so similar I wondered why I bothered buying them. Hugs Sarahx

That's what me old Dad used to call 'em, too, but he was a Scotsman, so I wonder where it first started. lol.
