Morning peeps and hope you are all OK
We may not have a host of golden daffodils here today but we have some – yes I think Spring is on it’s way. Our birds have started making the sort of noises that are clearly attractive to birds of the opposite sex (please don’t think about it for too long lol!!), and that’s usually a good sign.
So it’s happy Friday peeps and time to check in with the Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar challenge gang.
This week we have a fab sketch for you by our very own Bev …
.. and here it is.
We are sponsored this week by the loveliest ladies ever ….
…yes it’s The Ribbon Girl (I am so excited cos you know what I’m like with ribbon and I am going to be a GD for them in March – woohoooo!!) and this is what’s up for grabs ….
BUT if that wasn’t all, we have a second sponsor for you as well …
and there is a £10 voucher to spend in their store.
It’s all good – in fact it’s absolutely marvellous!!! :)
So this is what I did with the sketch.
My new Magnolia Spring kit dropped through the letterbox and well, how could I not ink it up!!!!
I was torn between this little sausage and another oh so cute one. I coloured both and went with this one cos I liked the way her leg dangled out of the circle, but the other one will appear on here soon of that I am certain!!!
Copics used today?
Well there is a list as long as your arm (mmm, slight exaggeration, unless you have very short arms of course) cos for some reason when I do yellow (which isn't very often) I end up using more than normal.
So anyway I used ….
E00, E21. R11, R20 (skin), E42, E50 (hair), B0000, Boo, B02, Y0000, Y00, Y02, Y06, Y11, Y38, W00, W1, W3
And here’s the daffs.
I LOVE daffs and always have some in the house when they are out and about although Rich never lets me pick them from the garden, the big meanie lol!!!
The blooms I used in this little arrangement which are all from Wild Orchid Crafts are ….
And if I’ve done it correctly (hahhaaaa!!) , clicking on the pic will take you to the right place on the WOC website
I also used the old PATP Eyelet Lace Punch again ( can you tell that I hadn’t put it away!!) and the papers are Nitwits (Hoppy Hearts)
Guess what else I hadn’t put away!!!
BTW, the middle bit on the yellow nestie circle is a lovely Nellie’s Multi Frame – Round, and these are available from Tracy at Dies To Die For who is also lovely but is not round!!!
So that’s me done for the week.
I’m doing a Pro Marker workshop tomorrow at Purple Butterfly Crafts in Hawarden and one again next week as it’s such a popular class. Then I plan to have a very lazy Sunday but of course that is never how it works out.
But we live in hope!!
Have a great weekend whatever you are doing and I’ll see you back here on Monday.
Hugs to all xxx

Hi Dawn I am a new follower and your card is Gorgeous. I do have a questions though (I am a little behind the craft curve lol) How do you adhere these lovely flowers to your card? Would love to try it but the bulk makes me nervous and second (this is where I show my novice) How do you mail this or otherwise present it? I can't think of an envelope it would go into without ruining your work? LOL any guidance would be appreciated :) thanks
ReplyDeleteWonderful card. I like the colours and the beautiful flowers.
