Hi peeps and hope you are all OK on this cold, frosty and very foggy morning – I can barely see (or feel) me trotters :)
It’s time to head on over and check out what’s happening over at the Lili Of The Valley Thursday Challenge and this week we have a little sketchie for you….
… and it’s this one by yours truly,
and of course, there is a fab prize for you donated by those lovely Lili chicksies, Lisa & Laila xxx
So ….
… this is my interpretation of it.
Well actually it isn't an interpretation, as I followed it exactly so I don't know why I said that really - doh!!!
I used Copics to do the colouring thing and added a fair old bit of Glamour Dust, although I didn't intend it to go all over her face, poor thing, so ignore that bit!!
So I used -
Skin: E00, E21, R11, R20
Hair: E42, E50
Clothes etc: BV0000, BV00, BV02, C00, C1, C3, C5, E50, RV0000, RV02
Yes, there’s only one place to get those fabulous blooms, and that is Wild Orchid Crafts.
And the same goes for the prettiest papers I know, and that’s the one and only Pink Petticoat.
I used Gingham, Lots Of Dots and Stripes. And the sentiment is also Pink Petticoat, from the Girly Curly Sentiments Collection :)
Oooops, spot the awful editing on the one of the right
and the one on the left aint much better :(
Ahh, that’s a tiny bit better Miss Piggy!!!
I did a workshop yesterday at Purple Butterfly Crafts in Hawarden so a big hello to all the ladies there and also to Sophia and Lesley who is the font of all knowledge on the crafty front :) xxx I love going into that shop because there is just so much fab stuff in there and it’s laid out so nicely and not all bunched up so you can’t see it.
I like that :)
And one of the lovely ladies on the workshop is such a talented artist, she really is. So I thought I’d share this with you.
Barbara came to a workshop I did last year and was using an image I hadn't seen before, so I asked her where it was from. She told me that it wasn't a stamped image, but she had actually drawn it, and it was amazing!!!
And she has turned some of her images into stamps.
Check these out ….
She sells them on ebay – you can see them here – and if you are interested, here’s her website (www.barbarahands-boz.com) and her contact deets (barbarahands@gmail.com).
I thought I’d share this with you as well :).
Our poor Kyla has chicken pox (or chicken pops as she calls it).
She is quite OK in herself and seems quite proud of the spots really and shares them with us at the drop of a hat, whether we want her to or not!!!. Emma’s partner was looking after her on Tuesday and he brought her round to ours to get her out of the house for a while. She brought with her, amongst other things, her spotty pink Minnie Mouse shoes that I told you about last year (the ones from Spain with the little heels) and put them on as soon as she got here.
So we had some lunch and it was time for her to go back home so at the back door, she gave me a kiss and then walked to the car. Then she walked back to me and gave me another kiss and walked back to the car. And she did this about 8 times. So I’m swelling with pride and thinking ‘ahh, bless, her, she does love me, the little poppet’.
So last night we went to Emma’s for dinner and we are sitting there after we’d eaten and chatting etc and I tell Emma about this, still feeling quite proud of myself really. And I turned to Kyla, all smug and said ‘ ahh, you just wanted lots of kisses and cuddles from your old Grandma didn’t you’. And she said, ‘no Grandma, I just liked hearing the noise of the shoes on the path’.
Oh well, you can’t win them all I guess!!!!
I wasn't the only one to get (sort of) insulted because later on she was talking to my aunty on the phone and Kyla told her that she had a thank you card to bring round but she couldn’t come and see her yet because the doctor said that she had to stay away from old people while she has the spots!!
Emma nearly died with embarrassment. The rest of us laughed, including my aunty :)
Anyway I better go. I’ll be back tomoz with me JM cardage – no sneak peeks cos it isn't finished yet – so have a fab day, see you then and hugs to all xxx

Mine is three and always saying cutie-patootie things, too!! Although my 5 year old grandson made me laugh yesterday, He had a stuffed iguana and asked if I want it for a pet, I said, oh no thanks, he doesn't run very fast to be a fun pet.
