Tantrums & Tiaras :)

Isn’t she fabulous!!!!!

She’s one of the brand new Lili Of The Valley girls that you’ll be able to get your mitts on very soon. This is actually a birthday card for a friend of mine who is having a ‘significant’ birthday – I won't say who or how old but I wish I was her age, that’s all I can tell you!!!!!

It’s also my card for this week’s Lili Of The Valley Thursday Challenge which is

Well say no more cos it was just up my street!!!

So this is what I did.

I coloured Miss Stroppy Knickers with a mixture of Copics and Pro Markers AND I remembered not to chuck out my list, so the colours I used were -

Skin: E00, E21, R20

Hair:   E42 & Ivory

Clothes: G21, G94, YG63, Pale Pink, Rose Pink, Cool Grey 3

I used my PATP eyelet lace punch which you can get from Dies To Die For, along with your Copics and Pro Markers and the papers are Nitwits (I THINK Butterfly Kisses but I wouldn’t swear to it and they are all on my other PC downstairs and being totally honest with you, I am just too hot damn lazy to get off of the lardy butt and go and look!!!!)

This is probably why it’s lardy in the first place!!!

Now this is a very intricate bit of floristry from yours truly  - well it is for me!! - and it took me sooooooooooooooo long to get it to look just how I wanted it to look.

I doubt if I could do it again and I blame the trotters!!!!

My beloved Mother was awesome at this sort of stuff and like her ability to draw and paint, it seems to have skipped right past me when the talent genes were being handed out, which is a shame.  I think a few came my way but not all of them, but we can’t be greedy!! She also used to make the most beautiful wedding cakes as well and often used to say that she would teach me.

But I always said no as I wasn’t really interested then – too busy faffing about with me  clay.

I did the sentiment on the old ‘puter (yes the same one that’s downstairs lol!!)

You know the more I look at this card, the more I really do like it (she says, typing as she thinks!!!).

So that’s me card.

Well I am off to put the finishing touches to my JM card for the morning then I have to attempt to tackle the paper mountain on the desk. I think somebody comes along in the night and tops it up cos it never seems to look any smaller – grrrr!!!  It’s a shame because I had a delivery of some gorge Hanglar stamps which a friend of mine very kindly sent me over (thank you chick xxx) .

Ohh I squealed, I really did.

They are just so sweet and I just want to sit and ink them up and colour them, but sadly I will have to wait until later.
