Shocking Pink Papertake :)

im copy

Hi peeps and hope you are all OK xxx

The weather here today is absolutely foul – it is persisting down and blowing a gale as well – grrr!!!! But looking  on the bright side, we have a nice sketch and some gorge cardage for you over at the Papertake Weekly challenge.

So …

#49

.. this is the sketch, and ….

… this is my take on it.

I used another one of the new Magnolia Tildas and decided to use a colour pallete which is fairly close to traditional inasmuch as it’s based on red and green, but I gave it a modern twist and use shocking pink and acid green.

I coloured this sweet Tilda with Copics and added some sparkle. There’s no list of colours peeps cos it went in the bin before I realised -  doh!!! -  but I think it was something like E00, E21, R11 & R20 for skin, E50 & E42 for hair and YG0000, YG03 R0000 & R10 for clothes.

I was doing so well lately as well!!!!

Do you like her sparkly frock btw? I think she looks very glam!!!!

The papers are Nitwits (Joyful Hearts) and the super fab sentiment is from the Pink Petticoat Girly Curly Sentiments Collection. I also did the PATP thing with the MS eyelet lace punch which you can get from Tracy at Dies To Die For, along with your Copics

So that’s what I did and if you get a sec peeps, nip over and check out the rest of the DT cards – they are as stunning as always and you’re sure to find lorry loads of inspiration xxx

Before I go, I must just share this with you. Remember I said a few posts back that Tracy is starting to do card kits? Well the first one is now on the website  and you can check it all out here - it’s a snip at £3.25 and awesome value I think.

And also, remember I asked a while back about expandable envelopes? Well the sweetness that is Jane told me about these -

6 x 6 Box Envelopes

Thank you chick - they are perfect for those of us who like to add one or two embellies to our cardage,  and you can get them from The Secret Crafter. Here’s the link that will take you straight to them and I have to say that they are fabulous. If you get there and there are non in stock, don’t despair because I happen to know that more are on their way and are due to arrive any day now.

Right I’m off to grab a bit of lunch before I do a bit more work. I might be back tomorrow, depending on whether I get the card I am working on finished – I am so sloooooooooow sometimes.

Have a great day and stay warm and dry and hugs to all xxxx
