What A Let Down :(

The parachute jump didn't happen.

But more of that in a sec. 

I haven’t done a Penny Black Saturday challenge for ages and ages and as it’s all about ‘checking it out’, I thought I would  and well, how could I resist a bit of gingham!!!

I really do love this image – it always makes me smile – but I’ve had it for ages and cannot now remember where I got the stamp from – grr!!! But you can get a great selection of Penny Black beauties from Tracy at Dies To Die For.

You can also get your Copics there as well, which is what I’ve used to colour this. I am really loving these pens now.  One or two mishaps on here but I’m getting there :)

The papers are a mixture of Funky Fairy gingham  and the gorge new Lots of Dots from Liz at Pink Petticoat. And of course, I had to chuck a bit of Martha in as well :) The ribbon was lurking about at the bottom of my ribbon box.

And there’s the old card.

So as I said, the parachute jump didn't happen because of the low cloud – totally out of anybody’s control. We sat there from 8am until almost 2pm and then one by one, people started to re-book so we did the same. It’s now on for the 17th but I felt sorry for Emma as she had geared herself up for it. But there was a big part of me that was relieved!!!

Never mind.

So we got home eventually, only to find that my scheduled post hadn't happened either, so I was ever so late with it yesterday.

Never mind again!!!

And it’s a quickie today cos I am putting the kitchen back together after it’s makeover. It’s so nice to have it all clean again. Have a great  Saturday and I’ll see you tomoz for another helping of Anya.
