Ohh I tell ya, I didn’t know if it was New York or New Year yesterday!!!! But we survived the onslaught of the lil horrors and I’ll share some pics in a sec.
But first it’s time for a Papertake Weekly challenge and we have a sketch for you ….
… and here it is.
And here’s the card peeps - I do love these colours together, I have to admit.
I gave My Guy Ian the Copics treatment and added a double helping of Martha and some of the new Pink Petticoat papers. We are sponsored this week by Tracy at Dies To Die For and that is exactly where you can get your mitts on a humungous helping of crafty bits and bobs. And the links I’ve added will take you to the very spot for all of the products I’ve used, which I hope will help peeps xxx
The sentiment is part of the My Guy Ian set – it was perfect for this I thought - and the buttons were from the piggy stash!!!
OK yesterday was bedlam – no other word for it. But they were al well behaved and all went home with lots of chocs and sweeties. I took lots of pics but didn't manage to get one where they were all ‘hunting’ so I just have a few of my faves to share.
Kyla with her vest hanging out (typical – ever the lady!!) and her cousin Haydn ….
… who is just the cutest bunny about.
I’m sure when he is older he will appreciate his mummy putting these ears on him no end, not to mention Aunty Dawn sharing it with the world, but he didn't seem to mind yesterday, bless him. I literally could eat this kid – he is just squidgy and CUTE!!!
We are a few kids missing on this pic - you can just see one making his escape into our lounge - but this was the calm after the storm and they were getting ready to share out of all of their spoils.
Then it was a quick tidy up and I was off to our card club.
We were given the wrong set of keys so poor Nikkie had to go back and get the right ones. But they turned out to be the wrong ones as well, so there we all were in the car park, waiting for the church warden to arrive with the right ones. He came within minutes bless him, and still in his slippers!!!
Then it was back home, unload all the card stuff and straight to bed for moi. I was shattered.
Kyla stayed over and she had been ‘Grandad’ sitting while I was at card club. He had a funny glazed expression on his face when I got back and I think he was suffering from kid overload, the poor beggar. She told me this morning that he was a good boy and that he read her 2 bedtime stories lol xx
So we are off now for a spot of lunch at Fun 4 All with Aunty Nikkie who is downstairs playing snap with her ladyship while I am doing this so I better not keep them waiting.
Have a great day and hope your Easter Monday was a little less manic than mine, hee hee xxxx
