Sweet Tilda Meets MME xxx

I've had a fabulous parcel from Tracy at Dies To Die For -
she is just the best xxxx

And there were some gorgeous things in there so I decided that I would use them to do my card for this week's Just Magnolia Challenge.

And I used the fabulous sketch over at Sketch Saturday, so it's a a double challenge :)

So the challenge this week is buttons.
Well I love me buttons so this one was right up my street :)

I coloured Tilda with the old dynamic duo. And that gorgeous Bazill card is Yukon Gold. And did you know BTW that Tilda and friends are now available at Dies To Die For!!

It's all good :)

The papers are My Minds Eye - Wild Asparagus - you can see them here. And just so it all matches, there are buttons and ribbons in the same range - and you can see them here.

The blooms were from Simon Says Stamp as part of my prize. The brad is Poppicrafts - check out the wonderful not to be missed sale - and the sweet little heart charm was from a bead shop near here.

You can see the other paper I used a bit better on this pic. Not my usual type I know, but I am loving them. Ohh it's a bit scary when it isn't a download or CD and there isn't an unlimited supply. Measure twice and cut once springs to mind :)

And of course there is a MSBP chucked in - it's not the doily one but it's so pretty I think. You can see them here.

And that's my card.

Well we have had pc probs again and I don't know if it is the actual machine here or if Mr Blogger is up to his tricks once again - grrr!! I have a terrible trouble leaving comments over at Papertake Weekly, so if I've missed you out, please don't take it personally xxxx.

I will keep trying, but my system just freezes up and then crashes!! VERY annoying to say the least. Is it just me or is anyone else having probs? I know poor Kath has had a complete mare!!

Technology eh!!!

I have to give my lovely Richard a bit of a toot cos he was playing in the Cheshire Shield Veterans tennis final yesterday - and they won!! Woohooo - you go boy!!! Well it should be 'you go old fart' as it's the veterans (over 45's) but it don't sound right lol xxx But I was very proud of him and he can play tennis - just a bit!!!

And I can report that we are once again a swine flu free zone - hooray!!! All back to normal - well as normal as it gets in this mad house. Thank you all for your nice words and get well wishes. All were very much appreciated xxxx

On that note, I am off cos me and Miss Kyla are going shopping. They are going on holiday (again!!) on Sunday so it is another week of peace and quiet which I will enjoy for a day or so but will then hate!!

Have a fab evening and see you tomorrow for another Papertake Weekly.
Hugs xxx

  11. Fabulous card Dawny, what nice colours, and I love your bit of bling! I have trouble getting into a couple of blogs, freezes just like you, it's so maddening, and yet when I'm on the laptop I can get into those blogs, crazy,I won't even try and understand why, it's all beyond me, but the thought of not being able to connect to my blogging buddies fills me with horror!! lets hope the computer fairy waves her wand over us Dawny.
