At Long Last ……..

image

… we are up and running – well, sort of!!!!

I have had a complete nightmare with my pc – you wouldn’t believe it peeps. More in a sec  but at last I have a card to share, and just in time for this weeks Wild Orchid Challenge. And a fabulous challenge it is - you are sooo going to love this one cos it is

One For The Girls

woc prize[2][1]

And check out the awesome prize that one lucky girlie will win :)

One of my blog buds sent me some stamped Hanglar images and I’ve been dying to use this one. I coloured her with Copics, which you can get from Tracy at Dies To Die For in these colours -

BV0000, BV00, BV02, E00, E21, E35, E42, E50, R11, R20, RV0000, RV000, RV02, RV10, RV95

bloom

And of course, what could be more girlie than some pretty flowers. All of course from the ever so fab Wild Orchid Crafts

I used a selection of different roses and gypsophila plus some strands of pearl spray

bow

I used a bit of lilac gingham ribbon from my stash and finished it off with a bow made with lilac organza ribbon which you can get from Wild Orchid Crafts – you can see it here

border

The papers are both Pink Petticoat and the punch is a MS punch around the page punch. This is the eyelet lace punch and is fast becoming one of my faves. These are now back in stock over at Dies To Die For.

The teeny pearls are of  course from Wild Orchid Crafts

And there we are peeps!!

Well what a palaver I’ve had. My pc had been playing up the week before but then the monitor went a week last Saturday and in trying to fix it, we (our IT boys and I) managed to corrupt the hard drive. So it was completely and utterly knackered.

I had to send the flippin thing away and it only arrived back here on Thursday but then of course I had no photo editing software loaded on as it was a new hard drive. No matter I thought, I’ll just get the disc and re-install. Easy peasy!!! So first thing Saturday morning I set out to sort it.

But not so fast Miss Piggy.

When I tried to open the disc drawer on the pc tower, it would not work – there is no power getting to that bit of it.   So back onto our IT boys I went and they said they would have to look at  it this week. I could have cried!! So the only way I could sort these pics was to get a free Photoshop trial download from the internet and use that, which is what I did.

I have now gone and bought a new pc for us – the one I use is my works PC – so hopefully all my probs will be over once it arrives. And thank God I got an external hard drive to put my papers and digi stuff on because I would have really been in the you know what then!! If your stuff is just saved on your compute C drive peeps, I would really urge you to go and buy one of these EHDs. They don't cost that much and at least if your pc has a strop, your papers and stuff are safe.

So that’s me done for today. I have loads of work to catch up on because there wasn't that much I could do last week. So there really is a mountain of stuff to get through. So have a great day lovely peeps and I’ll be back in the morrow with  a bit of Papertake cardage.

Huggiest of hugs to all xxx
